Until the past 2 years, I would have given Ed 5 stars. He has always done a great job with our taxes (and we have complicated taxes being a same sex married CA couple.)
Unfortunately, Ed turned non responsive when we were faced with an IRS mistake. He told us he would take care of it, but he never did and as a result we were slapped with a huge levy.
We had another CPA look at our 2010 taxes and Ed had forgotten to file a form. It would have been fine is Ed had just admitted it and wrote a letter for us, but instead, he dodged our calls, and when I saw him in person, he told me he would handle it, but he never did. I have never felt more concerned about a financial situation before; it is not fun having the IRS breathing down your neck and feeling like we were hung out to dry by Ed.

I’ve been going to Ed for years and am very satisfied with his services. He did my dad’s company’s taxes for years before I got into the fold.
Ed is very professional and efficient at getting our taxes done quickly. He’s an expert at all those nooks and crannies of the glorious tax world and often makes suggestions about a tax situation that I could benefit from. Plus, he has a fab New England accent that I like to make fun of…
I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my tax stuff!
