Eagles Towing and Recovery

Bad business !!! My car was towed from wiz burgers in SF so when you go eat here make sure you save your receipt!!! The owner called to have my car towed by Eagels Towing and road service after I went around the corner to check out the block was back in no time. Burger $ 8 towing $ 300 so I would have to say the burger was not worth it !
Eagles Towing Service wow my receipt says $ 45 dollars added for special equipment and $ 85.00 after hours if you are are 24 hrs than what is consider after hours and what is special equipment? THE TOW TRUCK!!! What ever Eagles and Wiz burgers must be making alot of money on hamburgers!!!

I was illegally towed about a week ago, costing $ 300 for a tow less than an hour before I called. They’re not giving my the photo of my violation and charged me $ 85 for an after hours fee although they’re listed as a 24 hour towing service. As well as charging me $ 50 for «special equipment» to tow me-​which I’ve never experienced before.
It’s in a bad neighborhood-don’t go alone– it’s really creepy and so are the people there who seem to just come out of nowhere and surround the site.
Filed a police report so we’ll see what happens.
Get their info about Vehicle owners rights. (They dont want you seeing this or asking questions)
You may be entitled to double or 4x your money back if they towed you illegally.

They never tell u who’s incharge their and play with people when their at fault. This situations have happend to some of my friends too. They over charge u and charge fees that their not suppose to. SOME ONE NEEDS TO BRING THIS COMPANY DOWN FOR GOOD!!! I know other people get ripet off with their money and other things with this company. People should sue this place! I don’t know how they still in business .! I’m pretty sure other people agree with me on this review.

Shady. Expensive. Mob-​owned?
We were unable to move a car out of a lot before a certain time and it was unfortunately towed to Eagles. When we got there, two huge guys came in from the back. «We’re here to pick up a towed car».
The smaller one (Tony) said ok and immediately started calculating. $ 495 total fine which included a gate fee, drop fee, $ 200 tow fee, $ 80 storage fee, and I believe one more. With some more research, you can find out that these people are notorious for higher than average fees.
We asked to speak to the manager about getting some of these fees reduced since it came in less than an hour beforehand. «You can talk to him Friday when he gets in.» Convenient, since there is a 3-​day lien fee of $ 80 (not to mention the daily storage fee) and it being Tuesday meant we had a front line ticket to scam-​ville.
We asked for his name and they would not give it to us. We asked about their names and they would not give them. We asked about the owner… duh, they would not give it. After deflecting each question, Tony and Antonio (the bigger guy) would speak spanish to each other.
After trying to educate them that this should be public record the told us to «look it up then.» While my buddy argued with them, I called the number on the card and heard no phone ring in the room. Someone answered! I looked around but there were no other offices to hide in – they must be off site or in someone’s house. Shady as condoms in a confession booth! I started talking to the guy and asked to speak with the manager. I managed to get that his name was Jorge and that he was going to be in… Friday.
Scanning their walls, I found their permit. The «owner» is Martha P. Benitez. We demanded to speak with her but they said to come Friday. At this point there were 3 guys in there, making it even more uncomfortable for me and my scrawny friend. We reluctantly paid these underworld cronies and booked it.
We’re still trying to reduce it but please, pray to God that you don’t find yourself here.
