I started representing tenants right after I passed the bar exam. Over the years I have helped hundreds of tenants fight their evictions and obtain large settlements from their landlords. I am a Philadelphia native. I came to San Francisco in 1980 and finished by education here. I received my undergrad degree from the University of San Francisco and my law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law.

I believe that a lawyer’s role is to give clients options and to help clients reach thier goals. When a tenant is threatened with eviction, he or she needs to know her rights. When a landlord fails to maintain the building the tenant often needs help in dealing with the landlord.
