Description

Specialties

Double Happiness Health treats a range of health issues using the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices of acupuncture, moxibustion and herbal medicine, combined with therapeutic massage and patient education.

During your initial visit we will have a conversation that covers all aspects of your health as well as look at any labs or diagnostic imaging relevant to your condition. You will receive a customized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and goals. Your dedicated practitioner will follow your progress closely to get results.

History

Established in 2005.

Double Happiness means «marriage» or «union» in Chinese culture. We think of it as the union of mind and body, and a reflection of the unity of all life forms.

Double Happiness Health also views the union between Eastern TCM practices and principles with Western medical protocols and clinical research as a powerful means of providing effective, affordable, community health.

Meet the Business Owner

Christine F.

Business Owner

After earning my master’s degree at ACCHS in Traditional Chinese Medicine and being licensed by the State of California in 2003, I interned at Shu Guang Hospital in Shanghai. I have pursued continuing education, including advanced studies in orthopedics in which I evaluate and treat musculoskeletal pain, as well as studies in gynecology with a focus on fertility. In 2007, I earned a board specialty in acupuncture orthopedics with Fred Lerner at Cedar Sinai Hospital. I was certified by the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine in 2010. Over the years, I have studied Craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute, as well as Chi Nei Tsang, a Taoist visceral and energetic manual therapy with Mantak Chia and Gilles Marin. When necessary, I integrate osteopathic principles to manual therapy treatments, specializing in Tan/Tong style acupuncture as well as scalp and trigger point acupuncture.
