Diana Leykina, MD

Dr. Leykina has been my doctor for many years, and I appreciate her attentiveness, quick responsiveness, and overall honest and compassionate care. From annual blood tests to directing me to specialists, Dr. Leykina always finds the fastest way to get help. I highly recommend her to all my colleagues and friends because it’s tough to find a doc who actually cares nowadays. Go see her!

I started going to Dr. Leykina since we moved to the neighborhood and she is great! I chose her as my primary care and recommended Dr. Leykina to my parents who need to come and see MD more often as they have heart problems and high blood pressure.
She is easy to talk to and explains everything in clear and simple words. My parents admire her, she always answers their calls or return them as soon as possible which is very important not for elderly people only.
I also find her to be extremely thorough and really up to date on all things medicine. She treats her patients with care and helps me with my allergies and colds. (so I can get back to work quite soon)
Her office is nice and cozy and the staff is friendly and pleasant.
The waiting time is about 10 mins which is great.
I highly recommend Dr. Leykina as a family doctor to everyone who needs professional advice and good care.

The most terrible and unattentive doctor I ever met. Try to avoid her.

I’ve been taking my grandmother to Dr. Diana Leykina her primary care physician for years. She is great with her and that’s all that matters. She listens to our concerns and always helps. If it’s something they don’t specialize in, she is really good about referring my grandmother to best place. Today we had a follow up appointment which went really smooth as usual. Marina which is the doctors assistant is also so kind and always so sweet and attentive. If you want a great experience I recommend Dr. Diana Leykina and her team!

Went in today because I knew I had a bladder infection [had one like 6 years ago, those things suck]. I called at 2 pm and told the receptionist what was up and she had me scheduled to come in two hours later [I told her I was just looking for something in the next couple days and she was like … «No way, bladder infections hurt, come in today!]
Receptionist is french I believe, and Diana turned out to be very russian– their accents can be a little difficult to understand, but both are very sweet and have that down to earth, direct, European way about them that I very much appreciate. She listened to everything I had to say, checked my urine sample, and yup, UTI! [The joys of being female.]
She wrote me a prescription right away, and scheduled me for a blood panel next month [I’ve never had one] and she though it would be good to just do a full check on cholesterol, thryoid etc just to make sure everything looked right.
Over all, SUPER easy experience, I showed up 20 minutes early and she saw me before my appt time, only had to wait about 10 – 15 minutes. It’s only 15 minutes from my house, so I’m stoked to find her!

Went there as it appears with a stress related problem, My heart was pounding, can’t sleep, and rest of the unpleasant things that come with it. Call doctor Leykina office and been advice to see doctor as soon as possible. As soon as I arrived, doctor took my blood pressure and order EKG, that was done on a spot. After few minutes, doctor explain what went wrong with me. She was very nice and professional. I was very comfortable talking to her. She actually take her time to listen to my concerns. Thank you Doc.

I had a bad skin rash on my hands and feet, my dermatologist was not available for 2 weeks. so i’ve visited dr. Leykina and she has helped me immediately. she was very confident and even if she gave me prescriptions, I did not even need to fill them. Doctor’s advised remedy helped me on the next day.
I’d definitely recommend dr Leykina to anybody.

Definitely not a thorough doctor! I came to see Dr. Leykina for a routine UTI. She ended up giving me a prescription for some medicine to no avail. I ended up coming in here 3 consecutive times and was given the same drug again each time but with a stronger dosage. I finally told her I felt like the medicine she was giving me wasn’t working since I had developed a resistance.
I finally asked her to do a «culture & sensitivity» the third time to find out what medicines would work to kill/​reduce the bacteria. (At this point… I had discovered what a «culture and sensitivity» was through my studies). My point is, YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR TO DO A «CULTURE & SENSITIVITY» FOR A UTI! This should be a no-​brainer and should be done the first time the patient comes in with what appears to be a UTI. At the hospital I work at, this is the first test doctors order for patients with suspected UTI’s after they write the patient a prescription. The «C &S» report wil at least tell them if the medicine they prescribed will work and if it doesn’t, it will tell them what medicines WILL work. I am definitely not going back to her. She lacks the basic clinical skills of a general doctor.

In my quest for a doctor in my new city, I first phoned some of the big multi-​doctor practices and was told the first new patient appointment was anywhere from 4 – 6 weeks out. I found the prior positive comment about Dr. Leykina and phone her office. They were able to work me in that week and I had a good new patient visit. She and her staff have been very helpful working with my schedule and insurance company. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes at my appointment and they have been very responsive to phone messages and even email!

When I started working, I was only in the City for a week, so I didn’t have a preferred physician for my HMO plan. Dr. Leykina was chosen by default. After I quit and finally had time to make some appointments, I called her office.
I asked for the earliest appointment since I plan to move out soon, she booked it for the next day! In just the first day I was able to sign up, get my blood pressure and weight checked, a vision test (reading letters), a prescription for body acne, a labcorp referral, and talk about any other problems. On the second day she quickly examined my body, and I was done.
It was a great experience. No waiting. No ridiculous fees. Just a standard check up as I wanted. Be cautious though, this entire office is Russian (i think!). If you’re looking for a quick check up this is the place to be. I’m not sure how she handles longer term patients or kids, but for me, it was perfect.
