Business Owner
Michael E. Dergosits possesses more than 25 years of legal experience and focuses on handling trials, trial preparation, and counseling (including litigation avoidance) regarding patent matters. Mr. Dergosits represents clients in connection with a wide range of technologies, and has extensive experience in counseling clients concerning potential claims of willful patent infringement. His reputation in the San Francisco legal community has earned him Martindale-Hubbell’s prestigious «AV» peer rating, signifying preeminent levels of professional excellence and ethical standards.
Mr. Dergosits is admitted to practice in California and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In 1979, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1984.
