Dee Dussault – Hatha & Tantra Yoga

Whether you want to do the couples yoga or couples counseling the ganja yoga or the tantra classes Dee is your person. She is born to lead this work. She is compassionate and understanding and is passionate about helping people.

I signed up to be on Dee’s mailing list many months ago via MeetUp and finally made time to attend one of her classes. This was a pop-​up class in Duboce Park on a Thursday afternoon.
Dee was great, and was very personable. Dee is rad! I met the 4 other students taking the class and we got our gear set up, medicated, and started class. I really appreciated Dee’s intention to lead a class outdoors amidst the N Judah trains and being next to a dog park. :) And it was nice to practice outdoors! I also thoroughly enjoyed her guiding meditation at the end of class while we were all in Shavasana.
I do plan on returning to her classes. I hope to join a weekday night class at Merchants of Reality in Soma.

Just went for the first time last night. Dee works with all levels whether it is your first yoga class or 100^th. She is a great person and I met some stellar people. I wish I could keep her as my yoga secret but my karma says I must share this wonderful being with the rest of the world.

Dee is an incredible teacher and allows you to really make the most of your experience no matter what fitness level. She is expert at meditation/​visualization techniques.

My first time attending Dee’s class. I was amazed, and immediately felt at home. It had been 6 months since my last yoga session. Dee’s instruction was clear, and calm. It guided me throughout the entire class. I left feeling confident, and relaxed. I will be returning next week for my second class!

Extremely relaxing practice and incorporates a sense of community and body consciousness that I’ve never experienced in all my years as a yogi. Plus, I’ve never slept so well!

Dee is a wonder. We have gone to her classes in Tantric yoga for couples and Yoga and Thai massage fusion on the first Tuesdays of each month. Excellent. Mr. Geek is especially fond of the Ganja Yoga that Dee leads on Monday and Wednesday evenings. It is a nice gentle restorative yoga session with just the right amount of stretch… and ganja!!! Dee constantly reminds you to only do those things that are comfortable o you tand to make the experience your own. She builds a community and with her voice and occasional touch she is a guide on the journey as well as a teacher. Highly recommended for your Tantric and yogic explorations.

Dee is an incredible yogi on the frontline of a new innovative yoga practice here in San Francisco! The experience is a must for anyone interested in connecting deeper with their self and others. It is a beautiful, safe, and incompatible yoga experience. I highly recommend trying a class!

Dets.: I’ve attended two of Dee’s classes and am planning to attend another tomorrow. She is one of the most kind, open-​hearted people I’ve met. And I don’t mean in the woo-​woo, overly sappy kind of way; I mean that she is very bright and welcoming. Her classes are unpretentious and supportive; the people she attracts are similar to her and are wonderfully mellow.
I’m so happy she’s in the Bay Area and wish her nothing but continued success!

I had never done Hatha yoga before, and I’m glad I waited till I found Dee. She really is the very best. She’s friendly, compassionate, and her classes are full of fun people. While the rest of the world is out drinking their health away at the bars, Dee’s classes help rejuvenate you and recharge your energy. A combination of yoga, loving thought, and chemical-​free food will open doors in your life that you didn’t think were possible. If you are a California 215 patient, you *must* try her classes at least once… especially if you’ve ever done yoga before.
The classes are mostly conducted in a cool offbeat rustic art-​space in the Mission — the space there is quite a sight to behold as well. Lots of art all over the walls and ceiling, it’s very inspiring. One class was graced by a visionary artist who aimed projectors at all 4 walls and bathed us in rotating scenes of nature. It was positively blissful.
Overall, Dee’s classes are an unforgettable experience, no matter what youre looking for. I «highly» recommend!

Ganja yoga is such a unique and relaxing experience. Dee is an amazing instructor and I always look forward to any of her classes.

Dee has a great way with her classes– she truly takes you on a journey that is more than just physical but refreshes the mind and soul too! Ganja Yoga pushes the boundaries of what both yoga and ganja have become back into the realm of uplifting spiritual practice that encourages personal expansion as well as physical health.
This class is entirely appropriate for anyone new to either yoga or ganja– but also great for those with loads of experience with both!

You know how you start out seeking a business arrangement and end up with a friend? That’s been my relationship with Dee Dussault. I sought her yoga practice out at the behest of a friend that was (presumably) tired of my everyday whining about my burgeoning age, lack of energy, bloated, un-​pliable body and overall dissipating attractiveness to the opposite sex; I wrote her a detailed e-​mail outlining all of my faults (including the very limited nature of my cashflow), pretty much expecting rejection due to one or all of them. Ms. Dussault surprised me within a week with a warm, welcoming response that generously took into account my finances. A couple of weeks later we met at a friendly neighborhood café and chatted like long-​lost school chums about anything and nothing in particular before she invited me to her home office for my first lesson in hatha yoga. Any and all possible trepidation extinguished, I found the session absolutely blissful, thanks to Dee’s kindness, patience and «ain’t no thang» approach to the process, and am in process of arranging my second… eventually, I think I’d like to try the ganja and tantric classes. In the meantime, she has sent me a detailed template of the poses and movements of our last session so I have little difficulty practicing them at home. It’s fun. Amazing what a little thing like friendly collaboration does to one’s life perspective. Thank you, Ms. Dussault!

A great class to practice restorative yoga with like-​minded people in an environment that positivity, wellness, and mindfulness.

what a comfy, relaxing, welcoming studio and what an excellent leader Dee is! I drove all the way from Novato to attend a session so I have to plan and schedule my visits but hope to return soon — it did my body and soul good to be there and I’m certain it will the next time as well!

I highly recommend taking any of Dee’s classes, she knows what she is doing, and with kindness, she passes on her knowledge to you. I took Dee’s intimate couple class recently, yoga for love. It was absolutely amazing! Me and my partner were able to connect in a way that I never thought possible. We worked together as one, and it was all possible because of Dee’s ability to make us feel in a safe place within our bodies and mind. We left Dee’s class feeling in awe with our love, with our bodies, and with desire for more!

I had a wonderful time taking Ganja yoga. Dee was a fantastic teacher. Her energy and presence helped guide me through class. It was such a fun experience. I would absolutely go back and recommend to a friend! I felt like I could get deeper in the stretches and I was able to really turn my mind off and focus on the present in class. Definitely coming back!

I’ve taken Dee’s restorative yoga class with massage therapy. Pretty life changing experience.
Dee leads a really wonderful short gentle flow and a restorative practice with guided meditation. Two massage therapists walk around the room and provide bodywork while we yoga. It doesn’t get much better. The body workers know what they’re doing and really enhance the experience. The practice itself is extremely spiritual and I left feeling a sense of energy I’ve never felt before.
The location (Merchant of Reality) is also really incredible and very stimulating. It’s a beautiful art gallery and plays perfectly into the practice. There is also a great social aspect to this class, and I left with a few new friends!
I can’t say enough good things about Dee’s yoga. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this really unique experience. I wish I could give 6 stars.
