I love the husband and wife that own this store. Anyone that listens to my stories and offers suggestions on improving my vintage collection is Boss in my book. My first purchase was a purple butterfly brooch by a famous jewelery designer from the 1940’s. After checking a collector’s encyclopedia I knew I had a find. My next purchase was a long black velvet cape with a hood, that was made by I. Magnin, an old school famous department store in San Francisco back in the day. I am so ready for Halloween. I am going to imitate one of the legendary Black Caped Marauders aka Satanists that terrorized the Haight. Boo. The wife tells me she has a collection of vintage S&M wear and other freaky styles that would fit my body perfectly. I am into photography, so she said she would lend me the outfits when I need them. How cool is that? In the 1950’s thru to the 60’s clothing was sized and cut more realistically. There was no such thing as a size Zero. I have a classic shape and measurements. Hour Glass! The same size as Norma Jean. I love the personal service. I’ll be back. They also Buy, and Trade clothing at this store.
