Welcome to my psychotherapy practice. I have 2 offices located in the Castro/​Duboce Triangle neighborhood of San Francisco and in Daly City at the Westlake Mall. Both are centrally located and accessible by public transportation.

I help individuals and couples achieve greater aliveness and authenticity through a process that promotes insight and self-​expression. These are key ingredients to success in life as well as therapy. I interact with clients actively and openly to support an atmosphere of safety and model self-​reflection. I strive to convey respect and curiosity about the very specific and complex experience my clients share with me.

I see my job in terms of helping individuals understand and detach from the variety of emotional experience that inhibits, enrages, discourages and, ultimately, thwart them in their life.

History

Established in 2002.

Since 1991 I have worked with individuals struggling with various mental health concerns as well as addiction in private practice, day treatment settings and residential treatment. Primarily I see clients in individual psychotherapy and couples counseling. My specialities include addiction, trauma, anxiety and depression.
