I’ve been traveling a lot for work and David has been very dependable in taking care of my little neurotic kitty. He has been available on short notice, too, which was a lifesaver for me. He’s been great!

David has cared for our cat Enzo, a stray we’ve been feeding, our backyard, and our house plants for nearly 12 years. We’ve never had an issue, he always shows up when he says he will, and he loves our cat. It’s not always easy to find people to depend on, so we take it very seriously when we recommend him to others, which we do!

David is a cat whisperer! Our cats adored him from the very first time they met him. On the human side, he is always available, even on short notice, and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I’ve been having David take care of my cats while I’m away, for as long as a month! One of my cats has been diabetic for years and at one point, needed shots twice a day as well as other medication. I always came home to happy cats. I’ve relied on David’s services for almost ten years, and I’ll be at a loss if David ever gave up his cat sitting services. I’d recommend David to anyone, and if you do need a referral, please feel free to ask me personally.

Cats love this man! We have two cats, and we hire David to cat sit for us when we go away. He comes by out house, feeds the cats, and takes care of any major problems that crop up. We once had an ant infestation when we were gone, and David was a champ about taking care of it and making sure the it didn’t affect the cats’ food.
He is reliable, honest, and easy to communicate with. We feel very comfortable having him in our house when we are away.

David is the best cat sitter I have ever used!
I travel a lot and when my old cat sitter moved to Europe, I needed to find a new one. I found David on Craigslist and I could tell from the minute I spoke to him on the phone that he was a kind and sincere person. My cat liked him right away and he made me feel at ease. I’ve used him numerous times since then and my kitty is always happy and content when I return home from my travels. David is easy to work with, responsible, keeps in touch through email while I am away, and takes good care of my cat. I would recommend him to anyone needing a pet sitter. Heck, He even has keys to my place since I travel so much so that should tell you that I trust him! :)

David was an awesome cat sitter. I just moved to the city in the middle of the holidays and was super busy with work and the move and ended up lining this up last minute. David saved the day and even picked up a couple scratching pads while I was away so my cat didn’t ruin my new roommates couch. Would definitely recommend.

This is my very first Unilocal Review and David is more than deserving as the recepient. A friend really left me in the lurch when at the the Eleventh Hour she flaked on her promise to cat-​sit for me. It was late Sunday evening and I was leaving the next morning for over a week. My neighbors weren’t home, I was stuck. I looked on CL but the idea of entrusting a complete stranger to my two loves not to mention all of my belongings was really unnerving. Luckily, one of the CL postings had this link to the Unilocal reviews and that helped to assuage my worries. David agreed to come over that night (!) to meet my cats and get the keys. All the reviews about him being a life saver are true. He called or texted me several times whilst I was gone to assure me all was well. Picked up my mail. Trust me, you can trust David to take very good care of your cats and your place. Highly recommended!

David provides a very special service!
We have two cats, one of which is diabetic. David’s skill and willingness to come to our house every day to inject our cat allowed us the opportunity to enjoy our ten day vacation. His added touch of periodic emails set our minds at ease.
Would we use David’s services again? You Bet!

David is a life-​saver. I was going away before Christmas right through New Years and didn’t think to call a sitter until 3 days before flying to Malaysia. Smart right?
Contacted other sitters listed on Unilocal and no one was able to help me out,
and David — like a cat angel, agreed to do it within 5 seconds of speaking on the phone with me. David came over to meet the shy but adventurous kitties 2 days after the phonecall, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Highly recommend him!

Look no further for a great cat sitter! Just like others, I found myself in need of a cat sitter quick. David replied to my first email immediately and followed by a phone call. I really loved the follow up especially because it would take DAYS for my previous cat sitter to call me back — even when I was out of town. David is a very kind, gentle and sweet person who just loves your fur babies! Although my two are a little skittish if they don’t know you, they were incredibly well-​taken care of and cheery when I got home. And David not only vacuumed around the litter box, but my whole sitting area as well. Wow! I’ve already used David twice in the last month and would highly recommend him to others!

We had an upcoming trip and our «Cat Coven of Satanic Death» needed care. They can be quite evil sometimes and not everyone can take the task! Thanks to the fabulousness of Unilocal and Craigslist, David was found. Our initial meeting went marvelous, we needed to make sure that our cats would be there by the time we got back and not as part of:
a) A cat stew in the roughest area of the T-​Loin
b) As part of any sacrifice with Venom’s «Welcome to Hell» playing in the background and teens wearing wristbands with hammer nails.
David stayed with us for hours as we discussed everything from the cats to how badass Tura Satana is. He is super cool and Tutti immediately got used to him. Masita, well… Masita is just the personification of evil behind green eyes. His rates are incredibly good and super friendly, nice and cool.
I want to thank him not only for taking wonderful care of our little creatures of mayhem, but also for the great conversations and great persona.

Great cat sitter! Looked after our cats for a week while on a little holiday and all went very well. Trrustworthy, reliable and a true cat lover. Highly recomended.

I needed a catsitter ASAP… like the next day going on vacation during a holiday weekend. I found David’s ad on craigslist. I was worried he was going to be a weirdo that would rob the apartment and let my kitten starve to death. He was awesome. He came over that same night when I called and went over all the things for my kitten Chats. AND he was more normal than me! He even followed up during my vacation to let me know all was well. Cannot get ANY BETTER! After that vacation was the beginning of a great catsitting relationship. His rates are more that reasonable and my cat is normal when I return. I would recommend him to anyone and will continue to use his services.

*Edited to add: My boyfriend said that based on meeting him, he would give him 5 stars. So I’m upping my rating based on that :-)
I’ve never actually met David; maybe if I had I would give him 5 stars. I found his ad for cat-​sitting on craigslist and my boyfriend coordinated the whole transaction. All I know is that his rates were reasonable and when I came home our kitties seemed happy and well-​fed. And our apartment was just as we’d left it (messy but intact). Although he gave us references, right before we left we started worrying about leaving our apartment in the care of a stranger. I hope that writing this review might help spare others that worry and reassure them that their pets will be well-​cared-​for.
