History

Established in 1978.

I offer psychotherapy and personal growth work in private practice in San Francisco. My work is influenced by a variety of therapy approaches including Gestalt, Modern Analytic, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and the Transpersonal. It is also informed by the practice and study of Buddhist meditation, from the Zen, Tibetan and Vipassana traditions. (No saffron robes or shaved head – although my natural hair loss may eventually make me fit the look!)

I have lived in the Haight with my spouse Allen, since 1980. I helped him raise his daughter from age 12. (And of course, she helped to raise us.) We are in-​between dogs.
