My husband and I recently purchased a 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom house. My husband and I decide to add
one additional bathroom. Marcos converted my small closet about 3′ X 7′ into a functional, beautiful bathroom. After the transformation, the bathroom looks so spacious, so beautiful.
After the little bathroom was done, my husband and I decide to have Marcos remodel the 2^nd bathroom. He removed the bathtub and transformed into a beautiful shower. My husband and I were very pleased with the job. I would highly recommend Marcos for any kind of repair or remodel work.

Marcos and his team just completed an update on my bathroom, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. They repaired dry rot found under the linoleum and then laid beautiful tile. They had to deal with a heavy clawfoot tub and change out the toilet. The work was done quickly for a very fair price, and the results are terrific. I’m looking forward to using Marcos again on other house projects. He’s the best!

Marcos is great. He does it all. At first we needed wiring run for a light. Then he came back and painted our whole house interior in only three days. Fast, reliable, clean, thoughtful. He and his crew are great and I’m looking forward to working with him again for any of our house needs.

While I was away on a trip, I had Marcos paint every inch of my one bedroom apartment in West Portal. I chose him because of Unilocal,met him once, got a quote, handed him the keys and blasted off from SFO. It was definitely an impulsive decision, way more impulsive than I usually am, but I’m learning to trust Unilocal.
It was one of the best decisions I ever made: when I got back three weeks later, the place had been magically transformed. I went with a deep red in the kitchen, light blue in the bedroom, yellow in the living room, and a darker blue/​gray in the entryway. With white kitchen cabinets and white trim, baseboard, and picture rail in the entire place, it looks amazing. I’d post pics, but I’m a shitty photographer.
Marcos did everything I asked, and he was perfectly on time and on budget. He and Maria (who handles the billing and scheduling) were always super prompt and courteous. Trust me, Marcos is awesome.

We recently had our Marina living room painted by Marcos and his assistant. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. He was quick to come by and give a quote, came in at a good price point, and he finished our living room (including ceiling, multiple coats, and multiple shades) in 1 day. The entire process from estimate to paint completion was 1 week — and that was over the holidays. Upon completion, he offered to come back and fix any mistakes we noticed afterward free of charge. We didn’t find any mistakes, but the offer was appreciated. He skillfully worked around crown mouldings, trim, recessed lighting, and different surfaces which required different colors and types of paint. I would recommend Marcos and his team to anyone considering an interior paint job. I have always painted walls myself and was at first questioning our decision to hire out, but am ultimately 100% happy with our decision to hire Marcos /​Da Silva Painting.

Marcos painted my living and dining rooms last week. He and his assistant were on time, respectful, worked very neatly — they did a fantastic job. My dining room has intricate molding and color placement. The lines between walls and raised molding are straight, smooth and clean. They are responsible and professional, finished the job on time, and are very pleasant to work with. I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend them — their prices are competitive; they are trustworthy and they do a great job!

Marco and team did an awesome job painting the common areas in our building. He arrived when he said he would, gave us a very fair bid the next day and then did the work brilliantly over the holidays. They were clean, efficient, polite, fast — great.

I seldom write reviews, but felt inclined to do so after Marco finished the work I contracted him for. Marco was responsible, efficient, creative and on budget. I contracted Marco to install a custom size door in my apartment where most other contractors over thunk the project and doubled the budget. He was creative in is approach and finished the job within a couple hours and exceeded my expectations. I would not hesitate to contract him for future projects and would highly recommend him to any family or friend in need of a reliable and efficient contractor. Yay Marco!!!

If you want a reliable, responsible and capable contractor to remodel your bathroom (or other parts of your house), Marcos is your man.
He removed my old bathtub and created a brand new shower area. He also enlarged our bathroom closet. He did this work in a timely manner and kept the living area clean and tidy.
His fees were very reasonable and within my budget.
I would recommend him without hesitation.

Marcos did a great job at my house, installing a dish washer, fixing lamps, fixing a shower leak and everything else that needed to be done. I actually recommended him to my boss, she’s very happy too with the work he did at her house. I totally recommend him. He’s hard working and very dependable.

Good contractors are harder to find in San Francisco than a parking spot! Marcos was able to solve a wide variety of my household stumbling blocks from re-​wiring, to plumbing. Moreover he was able to accommodate my tight schedule, cleaned up every bit of debris, always had the necessary tools on hand, and worked faster than I ever thought possible. His fees are very reasonable, but finding a trustworthy, reliable, honest, thorough & hard-​working contractor is priceless.
