I have been a tenant of a property managed by Cybus and an owner of a unit that I hired Cybus to manage. In both situations, they were always very responsive and friendly. They also found me fantastic tenants for my unit for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

The worst. Repairs have been ignored for 4+ months. Matt is a surly landlord who blames the actual «owner» for tying his hands with a monthly budget, which prevents him from doing reasonable and common sense repairs. These people are an absolute joke. DO NOT rent from them.

Matt and the Cybus team are great. They are there when you need them, but stay out of your hair when you don’t. We lived in one of their properties for almost 2 years and never had a single problem. Matt is totally fair, reasonable, and understanding. If they have a property you like, rent from them.

I’m not sure as to why my previous post was deleted but the bottom line is, I was super UNSATISFIED with the horrible customer service and the lack of common courtesy from the employees.
I hope this doesn’t interfere with Unilocal guidlines. I just want a fair posting of my negative experience with this company.

I completely agree with the review below (except to note that it’s required under SF law to give a security deposit back with interest). Matt is very responsive and great to work with. We just had a horrible experience with our last broker, and the prospect of renting again with someone as awful as she was (Afi & Associates) made me dread being a tenant again. However, Matt has been quite the opposite — accommodating, timely and very helpful.

as a former tenant of one of their properties, this is a fantastic landlord/​rental company.
Matt was always prompt to answer calls and fix the normal rental issues that come up. We recently moved out of our place in the city and when it came time to get our deposit back, we were shocked…
Not only did we get our entire $ 1700 deposit back… we got it WITH INTEREST.
An extra couple hundred dollars on-​top of our deposit! This is something they easily could have kept as profit. We have now been spoiled. It is worthwhile to call them to see if they have any listings (oh and they are dog friendly too!).
