Specialties

CrossFit Potrero Hill began when two friends asked the simple question, «What is CrossFit?» This simple question lead CrossFit Potrero Hill to operate with the goal to help athletes find their own answer to that question.

CrossFit Potrero Hill’s experienced coaching staff have had years of building CrossFit communities and offer group and personal coaching programs. Our team of coaches bring passion, hard work, and dedication to the gym every day. Due to our long standing relationship with World Gym, a CrossFit Potrero Hill membership includes a free membership at World Gym giving you access to all of their facilities.

CrossFit Potrero Hill is a CrossFit gym for every athlete, no matter their level of fitness. However we do ask our athletes to adhere to our two fundamental beliefs, that in every aspect of our lives you strive to be better and that in all these endeavors you go «all in.»

History

Established in 2009.

Back in 2009 two friends wanted to know what this whole CrossFit hype was about and challenged each other to do a Workout of the Day (WOD). After about an hour, both realized the hype, which lead them on a search to answer the question: «What is CrossFit?»

CrossFit Potrero Hill’s humble beginnings came from the back of a World Gym. After growing too big for this space, CrossFit Potrero Hill moved into a refurbished industrial warehouse with better equipment and a renewed energy.

After four years of building CrossFit communities and helping athletes positively change their fitness and lives, CrossFit Potrero Hill still exists to help athletes find their own answer to answer to, «What is CrossFit?»

Meet the Business Owner

Jason C.

Business Owner

Jason joined the CrossFit Potrero Hill team in 2012 when they moved to their own space in a refurbished warehouse.

His passion for CrossFit began after Jason was injured in the line of duty while serving in the military. CrossFit served as therapy for Jason as he recovered from his injuries. He now serves as a coach and owner of CrossFit Potrero Hill and even offers private classes.

Jason strives to adhere to the two fundamental beliefs of CrossFit Potrero Hill by constantly striving to be better every day and doing everything «all in.»
