yay for a crepes place by my office, the fact that they also have curry + thai food is pretty strange. i won’t be trying those items, but for the crepes — it’s pretty solid to come here for something quick and easy i’ll be by to try their savory crepes next time

I like this spot! Great Thai«fast food», although the prices could be better. Note: It’s all pre-made and they just scoop it out for you, but sometimes that’s the perfect thing for a quick lunch break, and it tastes FRESH. It’s mostly take-out, but they have a few seats inside at the counter and outside seating in the covered walkway. I recommend the Tom Kha Tofu Noodle Soup and the Green Curry. I’ve also gotten a Pesto Crêpe here, which was so-so.

It’s okay but I wouldn’t come back. Kind of a rip off for the quality they give. Even microwaveable food is better than this. My meal was $ 10. For just white rice. Sauce and chicken. With water bottle. This place has no personality when it comes to curries.

Unilocal doesn’t lie — tried out this place despite the reviews and it was subpar as expected. Didn’t try the crepes so I don’t know about that — maybe it’s better? Got the 2 item lunch combo with the massaman curry and red curry tofu($ 10.60) The food was prepped quick as everything is premade(cafeteria lunch style to go) The actual food though is disappointing — both curries were very thin and lacked flavor typically found in thai food. The rice was awful — congealed and mushed together. At one point I wasn’t sure if I was eating potatoes from the curry or a lump of rice — yikes. The tofu must have been cut right out of the package and dumped into the curry — seemed uncooked and super bland. Felt like a cruel joke as I sat there eating this all the while staring at Osha Thai across the street. Take the wait at Osha — it’s much better thai food. If you don’t have the time — get a sandwich or something instead — Breaking Bread is nearby as well. Gave this place two stars — 1 cause it was fast and another for playing some sick rihanna music

Crêpe & Curry is the place to grab a quick lunch of Thai food during a busy work day. Located within the Embarcadero Center nearby both tourist locals and many businesses, Crêpe & Curry is bound to draw a lot of business with its lunch specials and unique crepes. I came here very recently to just try something new in the area for a late lunch. I ended up trying their lunch combo special which consists of two items of your choice and a soup of your choice for around $ 10. There are about eight countertop seats in here, but there’s plenty of seating outside. The food was just okay. I ordered the Massaman Curry Chicken and the Basil Beef. It didn’t taste all that fresh or tasty, but it was still a solid filling meal. The nice part of it is that it was ready very soon after I ordered, making it a nice choice if I don’t have too much time for lunch. Though the food was just decent, the Tom Yum Soup I got was very good! It had the right balance of sour and spicy, and it came out piping hot which is perfect to warm one up on a cold day. They also serve specialty crepes here which I would’ve gotten if the combo did not come with soup. They have savory crepes that include items such as chicken masala. If I were to have the opportunity to come back here, I would definitely want to try one of the crepes they make on order alongside a nice cup of Tom Yum Soup.

Came here during superbowl city. We were craving something sweet and something warm as it was very cold! We got our orders taken right away and served within 10 minutes. Overall the food hit the spot and the coffee kept us warm.

My husband and I were looking for a place to after a Super Bowl concert and voilá! We saw this place. Crêpe & Curry. Two of my favorite foods. You are on! If you want to find a fast-food place that sells thai food and crepes, you found it. The only thing is, the quality is fast-food. So don’t expect to have the most amazing food of your life. The price is quite ok. We got 2 crepes(one savory and one sweet), 1 curry and 2 thai iced teas for $ 33. I was actually quite amazed with the flavor of the curry. I tried the pumpkin curry. It’s very yummy and spicy, so definitely order it with a thai iced tea so you can handle the heat. The downside was that the vegetables were undercooked, so they were quite hard and overly crunchy. Common, people! This is a curry! The crepes were a little disappointing. The cooked crêpe batter itself didn’t taste amazing, just passable, and it wasn’t warm. Also, I wish the sweet crêpe had more filling than it did.

Yummo! The chicken masala crêpe was perfect! The dressing on the side salad is to die for!

We ordered 2 crepes online using Unilocal/Eat24, order was confirmed via email, went to the restaurant and waited with a few other people. After 25 minutes we asked on the status, they said they never received anything and we should«call eat24 and cancel the order» and then order and pay again in the store. Plus getting back in the long waiting line. We showed the confirmation email and mentioned it was already paid online but they refused to do anything. Awful service, so much time lost waiting for nothing.

This sounded like a match made in heaven! But I guess it was too good to be true. The concept itself sounds really good. I got the chicken masala in a crêpe and the chicken masala wasn’t even hot(hot like temperature). Most curry at restaurants tastes like its freshly made. This one literally tasted like my curry leftovers when I reheated it at home. Taste wise was okay. I felt like there was more potato than chicken though. The salad they put at the side was too sour for me.

It’s ok. Neither curry nor the crepes stood out. A novel concept with great potential but not well-executed.

An interesting concept to offer both crêpes and Thai food, with a few crossover fusion crêpe options. I wasn’t that interested in the Thai food since it is not made-to-order, but rather scooped from a warming table. The crêpes, however, are made-to-order. Overall, I think it’s best to come to this place for dessert or a coffee break sweet treat. I wasn’t that impressed with the savory crêpe, but did fancy the dessert crêpe. As a personal rant, I prefer my crêpes folded once like a half-moon to maximize surface and maintain some crispiness. This place, and many Bay Area crêpe joints, do the triangular fold which isn’t my favorite texture. Praram Chicken Crêpe: I liked the peanut sauce. It was thick and full of nice spices. The chicken seemed like chicken breast that had been grilled and cubed and chilled before the lunch rush, like what you’d get at a salad; it was ok. I wasn’t a fan of the sprouts since they wilted during the crêpe cooking and obtained a not-so-fun texture like cooked lettuce. Tomatoes were not terribly juicy or heirloom and didn’t really fit the flavor profile. Strawberry Chocolate Crêpe: I liked the dessert crêpe more than the savory crêpe. They used Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips which is way better than when places that use chocolate syrup for a crêpe(…I know, right). The strawberries weren’t that juicy but still tasted nice covered in melted chocolate. Not all the chocolate melted completely though, so you’d get a partial chocolate chip every now and then.

Bad day at work? No problem– they have great crepes here. It’s an amazing concept, and has some of my favorite stuff. I am confused about the quite terrible reviews, because it’s really not so bad. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly!

I got one of the curry chicken crepes. It was fine, except it didn’t taste anything like curry.

Neat concept, not done very well. Tried the turkey pesto crêpe and the meat was very low quality, tasted almost like spam… Thankfully(or for worse?) it was drowned a decent pesto sauce and cheese that distracted me from the meat. The crepes themselves are pretty good and it’s fun to watch them being made while ordering. The highlight of the plate was actually the side salad which is a light mix of greens. Tried the savory crêpe here once and the eh experience was enough for me. In retrospect I’d go for the dessert ones, think the crêpe texture would pair much better.

Good thing I didn’t look at the reviews prior to having lunch here a few weeks ago! I had a great experience with takeout of a hawaiian and nutella crêpe for lunch — fresh, filling and very tasty! The staff was very welcoming and helpful too.

Crazy crab crab with an ice coffee for a heavy price of 14 $, while that’s the standard San Fran price fair for lunch it was an unexpected pleasant surprise. My friend and coworker got himself a masala chicken crêpe and we both came to the conclusion that it was a decent place for lunch, curry in crêpe is a novelty that should be worthwhile to any curry head. Is it the best curry and crêpe on the world? Probably not but for the taste, portion, and savory the flavors it’s worthwhile to try especially when you want something new to taste

Fairly priced, fairly tasty and service ultra nice and pleasant. One of them stopped at our table outside to ask about our food. As norm better to come 15min before the lunch hour.

I can’t speak for the crepes here, but I don’t know why this spot gets so much hate. I always get the peanut chicken with jasmine rice to go, and they make it fresh every time within a few minutes. The ladies here are super friendly, and for ten bucks I walk away with a bottle of tea and a ton of good peanut chicken. I do think they could stand to add more chicken, as sometimes it feels like more veggies than chicken. But I’d at least recommend the meal I usually get, for a good, satisfying lunch.

Yum! Brown rice and yellow curry. ’nuff said… Ok maybe more. Hah. I don’t get why they have suck a low score! Their curries are pretty on point(wish it was spicier) but all the potatoes. It was so good and filling! The chicken was in chunks. Not diced and it was cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to come back! Wish it wasn’t so pricey though.
