As general contractor for your project we deliver a turn-​key operation by working directly with the project architect, designer, engineers and trades professionals from the beginning to give our input on the construction aspect of your project. Whether you use an architect you’ve worked with or an architect from our network of industry partners, we will work with that person in each stage from the inception of your project to completion. We work collaboratively, give construction knowledge and value engineering input, and help direct a concept that will work practically within your desired project scope and budget.

At CRC Builders, we want to ensure that every construction project runs smoothly and is a pleasant experience for the homeowner, so we offer online client access to a Project Management site to keep you informed throughout the process.

We provide every client with access to a secure website containing all of the details of the project, including selections, upgrades, documents, photos, questions, and financial decisions. We want this information to be available to you and at your fingertips when you need it.

Established in 1994.

We have been specializing in creative buildings in the Bay area since 1994. During that time we have honed our craftsrnanship on everything from historic buildings to cutting-​edge contemporary spaces. And all that experience has enabled us to develop a client-​centered process that helps turn dream homes into a reality, and shows a healthy respect for a budget.

Meet the Business Owner

Jim P.

Business Owner

You can expect that Jim has a vast knowledge of the construction industry. He started at the age of 16 in a cabinet shop and then after high school worked through the Carpenter’s union apprenticeship program. After completing his apprenticeship, Jim became a licensed contractor & started his construction co. in 1994 and has worked through out the Bay Area.

As Jim’s reputation for quality workmanship grew so did his business. In 1998 he was the framing contractor on «This Old House» where he helped renovate the 1906 Arts & Craft –style church & was featured on the show. In 2005 he built and operated a custom cabinet shop. That designed high end cabinetry & furniture for the discriminating homeowners who require the attention to detail.

Jim’s dedication to excellence is infectious and as a result the company has received numerous awards on the local, regional and national level, including a 2005 & 2006 award for Overall Excellence issued by the local chapter of the National Asso
