We install many child safety products from Plexi panels for banisters and decks, to cabinet latches and stair gates.

We specialize in aesthetically pleasing installations of safety gates. During our in home safety consultations we will recommend only the best gates for your stairs, room divisions and more. We take the exact opening measurements and install gates then or later. Gates are used in a variety of ways — to make stairs safer, to create big playpen areas such as family rooms, to prevent access to kitchens, bathrooms and more.

Another of our specialties is aesthetically pleasing child safety solutions in PLEXIGLASS. During our in home safety consultations we will share and recommend our «tailormade» ideas to especially hazardous areas and challenging safety needs. We take the exact measurements during the consultation, schedule a time for the installation, and provide an «almost invisible», yet child safe solution

History

Established in 2002.

About Us

Together with his wife Lara, Lars founded CradleRock Children’s Center in 2002. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and an MBA in International Trade from Copenhagen Business School.

In August 2008, Jon and Megan joined CradleRockSafety as owners. We are happy to add Jon’s construction and sales knowledge as well as Megan’s years in and Early Childhood Education. They also bring their own personal childproofing experience with 4 children of their own. We are pleased to have them on the team.

Lars is a member of the International Association for Child Safety and has written numerous articles on Child Safety for local papers and parenting magazines such as «The Pacific Sun» and «Family Works». He is well known in the San Francisco Bay Area for his creative approach to safe and aesthetical childproofing through home consultations and installations, as well as childproofing seminars.

As the owner of a small business, it is very important to always be looking for ways to improve things.

After adding my 5^th child, Maci, to the Frank family, one would think all of my time is taken up. My wife of 10 hrs. Megan, allows me to spend all the time I need on the business. She is the most amazing wife, mother, best friend that anyone could have. With her dedication as a mother, it allows me to work weekends and into the evening to take care of the new families that count on me to help them make their home a safer place to raise their families.
