History

Established in 2013.

Console Sage was established immediately after The Game Alley in Castro Valley closed. Ian, who worked at The Game Alley until its last day of business, saw a hole left in the local electronics repair market and decided to put his skills back to work, and to fill the hole left by The Game Alley’s closure.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Ian is a longtime electronics enthusiast. Since high school he has been expertly assembling, disassembling, repairing and enjoying devices from the original iPod to the Xbox 360 Slim. He spent time working for an independent software company in San Francisco, a couple of years working as a QA Analyst at Sony in Foster City, and half of a decade in service to The Game Alley in Castro Valley.

Having learned the ins and outs of several aspects of the gaming, personal electronics, and software development industries, Ian founded Console Sage, where he currently works.
