I signed up with Mr. Colligan after going it alone the previous year. And was patient. And I got substantial savings.

Terrance Colligan provides the most unprofessional service. A few years back he filed a property tax rebate on my behalf. Contacting me by email only a day before the property tax hearing he cancelled the hearing indicating that all of a sudden my case was supposedly bad. I refiled the case on my own after incurring several months delay because of him. When I presented my case I ultimately saved thousands of dollars in property taxes, not only in that first year but for several years thereafter.
Ultimately, Terrance did me a favor. By providing me such a bad service he demonstrated that his services are really not worth it. I saved his 40% cut by not using him. If you are dealing with a residential property, you are far better going at it alone.

I have used Terry for at least 20 years and have found him to be very effective and honest. He has done work for many of my clients, as I am a real estate broker. Everyone has always been more than satisfied.

I used Terrance Colligan for several years to protest my property taxes. (A fairly brain-​dead process, I understand, but I didn’t feel like figuring out the paperwork myself.) Then this past year, he just forgot the protest filing deadline for our property. I contacted him after the usual deadline to check status. He apologized for having let it slip and said he had to see if the city would allow a late filing. Never heard back. He doesn’t return calls. Cost me thousands of dollars! This service is about knowing the system and filing papers on time. If you can’t meet the basic requirement of hitting the deadlines, then you shouldn’t be in this business.
Work with someone more reliable. I will this year.
