Luis Moran was our buyer’s agent and he did a pretty bang up job. He was patient and informative and willing to meet at crazy hours of the day in order to accommodate for our busy schedule. Luis was extremely reliable and always followed up on questions and emails, regardless of how trivial they might have been. There were a few bumps along the way but Luis made sure we were taken care of. At the end, we purchased a fantastic house in Miraloma at a great price and for much of that, Luis gets the credit.

Our most recent real estate experience began with a very difficult decision. We began consulting family members and were advised to use a National Broker, like Coldwell Banker. After finding this broker in San Francisco, where our house was, we decided to use him after interviewing three other top rated brokers. The agent was honest, sincere and straightforward, Our issues began with a necessary deadline to sell the home due to tax reasons. In the current market we were facing an uphill battle. This agent walked us through the process, helped with assisting us move out our previous tenants, (yep) and even helped with some of the physical clean up after the tenants moved. Tim Curran would serve any client with honor and integrity. We can’t believe how fortunate we were to find him. Now that the sale has closed, withing the deadline, we can’t promote his service to us enough. He drove 135 miles out of his way so we could sign documents close to home. He really turned a very difficult experience into a tolerable and enjoyable necessary endeavor.

I can say, without hesitation, that Tanya delivers! She is sharp, extremely organized and professional, but what made her stand out is her passion. She is truly passionate about what she does, and that passion, along with her experience, translates into solid results. She is very savvy in terms of today’s market and while sometimes her honest opinion isn’t always what we wanted to hear, in the end it was always the right recommendation.

Didn’t realize how bad Coldwell was until I hired an agent from the Noriega and now ran into a listing agent from this place. Coldwell as your agent would send you and overwhelming amount of emails with house listings. If I remember correctly, about 20+ a week. Then would take a lot of effort to see the property one is interested in.
This office was the listing agent of one property I was interested. That racist, Tim Curran, started giving me attitude because I looked like I just walked out of my house on one of the property he had listed. Only place I know that requires a dress code to see a house.

Richard Woo is a go getter.
He makes things happen. Anytime we wanted to look at a place he would arrange it (weekends, nights, etc). He always returned our calls even after we had been looking for almost a year. He helped us try to get a huge condominium complex FHA approved, and put offers in on more than one short sale. He is a fun guy to work with, which is nice when you get disappointing news, and he is even more fun when you get good news, but definitely professional. He and Edmund Leung make a great team. My wife and I are both self-​employed, first time buyers, who really had the odds stacked against us. We now live in an ocean view condo that we love.

In short: I WILL RECOMMEND RICHARD WOO TO ANYONE I KNOW THAT IS BUYING OR SELLING A HOUSE. Absolutely! With a smile!
In Detail: Richard’s experience in the area of selling homes is obvious. He’s got a great attitude, is extremely diligent, works very hard for you. He is quick to reply, very thorough, and extremely patient.
There were a few particulars about my homebuying that were extraordinary — and he handled them extraordinarily!
— I was not even iN THE UNITED STATES when i bought my house — not a problem.
— There were 4 owners with the house, each with differing priorities — not a problem for Richard.
— California was reclassified during my transaction, affecting my loan status and we had to start over. Not a problem for Richard!
— The house became mine over a week ago, and Richard is still helping me. We are dealing with contractors together.
Richard really made me feel like my transaction was in good hands. I was a Nervous Nelly half the time, and then went out of the country for the rest of the time. Richard managed it all — along with my mortgage broker and title company — both wonderful referrals.
I wish I could buy another house just to give him more business. I will actively hunt down friends in the market to refer Richard.
I did not deal with anyone else at Coldwell Banker and cannot confirm or deny any of the reviews of the other agents.

If I could give negative 5 stars for Elizabeth Chang, a realtor at this Coldwell Banker office, I would.
While Elizabeth may be easy going and stays pretty even tempered when you are frustrated at her, she is an incredibly inexperienced and pushy real estate agent.
She didn’t know the market well (kept telling us that everything was a good price) and she sucked at negotiating. Basically, it turned out to be a nightmare and when my mom confronted her about it, she disrespected my mom. She was even too lazy to rewrite our offer when we put our foot down to say that we didn’t want to pay the asking price but she had already typed the asking price on the offer paper. Lower offer meant less money for her. I had to photoshop it myself to the new offer price.
She was overly confident yet missed so many details on the house that we ended up having to pay for a lot of extra stuff. We bought a duplex and the seller lived in one unit and rented out the other unit. When we bought the place, we wanted both units vacant for us to live in. While throughout the purchasing process, Elizabeth thought the unit would be delivered vacant, when it came time to close, the tenants put up a fight because they had not been told that the house was sold and to leave. When we asked Elizabeth about her guarantee she said «delivered vacant» meant the owner would deliver his unit vacant, not the entire duplex. What!!!
Also, she pushed us to use her mortgage broker because he gave her a cut of our broker fees and was rude to use when we went with an alternative that offered lower interest and NO fees. Totally unethical for a real estate agent to do that.
Never use Elizabeth unless you want a major headache. Her interest is in her commission and not to her clients. There may be other realtors at this Coldwell Banker that may be of better service. Always ask around.
Every first time home buyers get a little nervous since it’s a huge investment. Our nervousness and hassle came not from the process of buying the house, but from our real estate agent who was only there to serve her own greed.
In fact, she is such a terrible realtor that we contemplated reporting her to the California Association of Realtors.

Grace Ieong has been so helpful. She is honest about her thoughts about certain properties and really on top of things. She notifies us about new listings right away so we don’t miss out. Would highly recommend her especially if you’re looking to live in the lakeside area
