We specialize in assessment and treatment of children on the autism spectrum. We utilize best practice interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to address the language, social, adaptive, cognitive, and behavioral issues associated with an autism diagnosis. Behavioral consultation is also available for families with neuro-​typical children and for children with other developmental disabilities. Coastal Learning and Behavioral Services, Inc. is an in-​network provider with most insurance carriers and is currently accepting clients throughout San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.

Sherry S.

Business Owner

Sherry Spencer has over 15 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She started her work on the Neurobehavioral Unit at the Kennedy Krieger Institute assessing and developing treatment plans for children with severe behavior disorders. Following her time at KKI, Sherry’s work has been focused on the assessment and treatment of children on the autism spectrum using Best Practice interventions to remediate language and social skills deficits associated with an ASD diagnosis. Sherry feels strongly that the goal of intervention should be to help children and families lead more fulfilling lives.
