Stopped by Chinatown for a quick lunch with my parents and decided to try out the«little guys.» I realized how much better it was than Walgreens. Got my script ready to go just under 10 minutes and the ladies behind the counter were super friendly. Would come back when i am in the area.

The people at this pharmacy are really great. They are bilingual in English and Chinese, efficient at processing prescriptions(paper or electronic) and nice. It’s really convenient to go there after a doctor’s appointment in the same building or down the block. Plus, if you don’t happen to have insurance or something isn’t covered, their prices are more reasonable than the big chain pharmacies I used to go to.

These guys are simply amazing! I had to have my prescription transferred from out of state and even on a pretty busy day they had me in and out of there in about 15 minutes with prescription in hand! They remembered my name when I came back the next time and were nothing but friendly. Some of them don’t speak English all that well, but it certainly doesn’t hinder their service. Amazing! I would recommend them to anyone in the area :) In a type of business where very few customers are happy, Clay Medical Pharmacy is heads and shoulders above the status quo.

I took my business here from Walgreens recently after they stopped taking my insurance and every time I go it makes me wish I had done so sooner. I’m always pleasantly surprised by how quick they are at filling my prescription, since I’m used to waiting an hour or more at Walgreens when I forget to call in advance. Picking up a ton of meds every month can be quite a chore so when you can get in and out under 20 mins even when the place is packed to the gills with old Chinatown ladies, it is a blessing. On top of that, the pharmacists and staff here are courteous and always pleasant. It’s located a block and a half up from the north end of the Stockton tunnel close to where I live. And I feel good about supporting my local, independent businesses. A win all around.

I wish I still lived in Chinatown so I could be closer to Clay Medical. As it is, I still make the trip out here every month to get my prescriptions filled here for 4 reasons: 1) they are FAST, much faster than the nearby Walgreens. Even when it seems über-busy, I am usually in and out of there in 10 minutes or less. 2) they are cheap, I prefer to support small independent businesses when possible because they are way more flexible and willing to work with you when you’re in a crappy situation. Back when I had no health insurance, I found they had the best prices in the area, way lower than Walgreens. 3) friendly and courteous, the ladies that work here are very nice no matter what it is you’re looking for. The pharmacists are always helpful with any questions you might have with your medication. 4) They accept Express Scripts, Anthem insurance, etc, which Walgreens no longer accepts. 5 stars.

This pharmacy is very good for my mom and grandmother. Their doctor is in the same building just on the third floor. One day my grandmother needed cough medicine and it was easy to get it downstairs. The people are pretty nice and informative.

This is an added convenience for people coming from their doctor’s office in Chinatown. The staff members are always nice and friendly, they also speak Cantonese and English.
