I wish I could give these people zero stars. The two women that I talked to to help me get a visa to China have the worst attitudes ever. They wouldn’t listen to what I have to say to explain my name change due to marriage. I was super out off by their rudeness. Even for Chinatown, the land of bad service, this place stood out. They should really learn some manners.

This is a way overdue review since Fiona and Ed helped us purchase our tickets to Singapore and China last year. The price they gave us was cheaper than what I could find on the internet. They provided great customer services, answered all our questions in a timely and professional manner. Will use them again in the future.

The first time I bought a ticket from Classic Tours was in Sept of 1995, to begin my great Cn adventure.
Seventeen years later, I am still buying tickets from them.
Over that time, I needed a new passport and a couple of visas and other local information, which Edward told me how to obtain it most expediently. But what got me to finally write a review today was, I called them at 8:30 AM (jetlag) and Edward answered and duly booked the ticket.
I have only used a couple of other nearby travel agencies over that time (last century), but the full-​service treatment and the most agreeable fares have me coming back!

I like there sevice, they help you get the visa to China. I think tickets are cheap depending on the year. I heard its cheaper in september.

A couple weeks ago, I was trying a purchase a ticket for a flight to HK in December … a few days before Christmas. Because it’s right before Christmas time and such short notice, the tickets should be expensive and there should be close to or already no more seats left. My friend and I called travel agencies in Nob Hill, Sunset, and went to many travel agencies in Chinatown asking them to estimate the price of the airplane ticket. Some travel agencies told me there were no more seats left available and that I have to follow up on them. Some travel agencies gave me skyrocket prices. There were a couple travel agencies that gave me reasonable prices but this was the place that gave me the cheapest price. When I went in to pick up my ticket, it wasn’t ready yet and I had to wait quite a while. The lady then politely apologized and asked me to come back later and pick it up. Other than that, the process of buying a plane ticket to China here is pretty quick. If you’re looking to buy a plane ticket to China, look into this place. It’s cheaper than online websites like
. This travel agency gives you the cheapest prices compared to other travel agencies in Chinatown. Would definitely recommend this travel agency ! I will update my review after my China trip.

For airfare to Japan, Hong Kong and Asia, the prices at Classic Tours are unbeatable. Travelocity and Expedia sometimes offer great deals too but their lowest prices are probably just about the same as the fares offered by Chinese travel agents like this.
Though it might be somewhat difficult for non-​Chinese speakers to ask questions and communicate with the staff, they do speak English… just not all that well.
Still, I think this is a great place to get cheap airfare. But book your hotel accommodations online.
