The Chue family was recently kicked out of the Farmers Market because they sold a few items from neighboring farms(they did not actually grow everything they sell). This is a real shame — they are the only farmers at the Ferry Building who have consistently excellent produce year round, and their specialty crops(Chinese broccoli, shelled peas, young ginger, three types of Asian eggplant, bitter melon, etc., etc.) are hard to find elsewhere. Please reconsider, CUESA! This is really unfair to the Chue’s and to their hundreds of fans.

********************* 1227 ********************** I love these guys at Chue’s Farm Fresh Vegetables by Ferry Building Farmers Market on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. They always have the freshest of fresh produces at a very reasonable price point. I love everything that they offer seasonal. This time was this colorful cauliflowers that I love and the romanesco! Nom nom nom. Check them out when you visit the Ferry Building Farmers in San Francisco.

This stand is located at the right of the front entrance into the Ferry building. They seems to have really nice and fresh vegetables. I think they have the best basil at the market. They have the Thai Basil and the Italian Basil. The Italian Basil have the larger leaf and the Thai Basil have a purple fringe on some of their leaves. I think they are slightly more expensive at $ 2 instead of the $ 1.5 at some of the other stands.
