Established in 2007.
Dr. Christina Villarreal started her private practice in 2007, and has taught and supervised doctoral students in psychology at Argosy University and The Wright Institute. Dr. Villarreal produces web articles, televised and print/web interviews on current issues in mental health and pop culture. She has been in a variety of international publications and television news networks including The Wall Street Journal, Techcrunch.com, ABC News, BBC, CBS News, Fox News, Scholastic Magazine, Topix Media Lab, and La Tercera, Chile’s national news publication. Her writing has been cited in textbooks produced by Princeton University’s Clinical Psychology department.

Dr. Villarreal’s training includes experiences at leading healthcare institutions such as UCSF/San Francisco General Hospital, Kaiser Permanente Hospital, San Francisco Veteran’s Hospital, and Laguna Honda Hospital’s Pain Education Program.
Dr. Villarreal was awarded her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and holds a Master’s Degree from the University of San Francisco where she studied Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. She earned a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) Alliant International University. She has completed post-graduate coursework and training through The College of Executive Coaching.
