Specialties
I am a licensed therapist and counselor (MFT 36 764) who specializes in work stress and codependency. I support people to feel better as soon as possible and to address the changes they may be going through in their relationships, both personal and work-related.
History
Established in 2000.
I began my private psychotherapy practice in 2000. Since then, I have focused my studies and my practice on helping people to reach their potential, both as individuals and as people in relationship with others.
Before going into private practice, I served as the first executive director of Our Family Coalition, a non-profit organization serving the needs of LGBT families. In 1987, I received certification in Drug and Alcohol recovery studies (UC Berkeley Extension, Level 1,1987), and have counseled substance abusing clients from that time until the present.

Business Owner
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I came to the San Francisco Bay Area with a lot of hope, but eventually became aware that I seemed to lack an inner road map that others seemed to have. After several painful attempts to create the life I wanted all by myself, I decided to try therapy. I was surprised when it actually worked. I have since found that like me, many who start therapy are skeptical that lasting positive change can come from seeing a therapist. What I have come to believe from working with clients throughout the years is that change is always possible, if you are willing to work for it.
