Excellent customer service from Jasmine (I believe)! After Jasmine learned that I was interested in receiving my credit card asap, she called a Chase underwriter to expedite the review/​approval of my cc application and also called another unit to have the cc rushed to me with the UPS Next Day service. Thanks Jasmine!

I’m a wealthy multi-​billionaire and when I need access to my vast fortune as to go shopping at the Sharper Image, I go to this Chase.
Short lines and friendly service, seriously I have never waited more than 2 minutes.

Wait time is too long. Only one teller working behind the windows all the time. I dont know why they have 6 windows but only 1~2 tellers working. I hope they could have more tellers to help reduce the wait time.
Services are soso, no smile and no greeting at all.
Not recommand people who need bank services in a rush to come to this branch!

I have never seen such unprofessionalism from a bank manager before. I have been banking with at chase for over fifty years, and after this day I will close my account. First of all if there are twelve people waiting in line with one teller. Personal bankers should come out and help. I waited over thirty five minutes, and was told by the manager to leave due to the machines being down. This is after I have been waiting over forty five minutes. I have over 20 million dollars in my checking account, so I hope that this bank manger gets fired. I will also write a letter too the head quarters.

I like this branch.
Finally a Chase at Stonestown. I primarily use the ATM when I come here but when I have gone inside to the teller it has gone well.
It’s never too busy here which makes for a lot of quick transactions.
Last I checked I think they were hiring for tellers. Just a nice place to come and get your finances in order.

I came to SF with a college saving account opened just a few months before college actually started. I had never actually gone to the bank before that for my own purposes. When you’re in high school for the most part, you go to the bank with your parents or just to pick/​drop off something for your parents or at least that’s what it was like for me. I’ve been coming to this specific chase branch for about 4 years now and they’ve done everything for me from the simplest things like teaching me how to make multiple deposits to teaching me all about how credit worked to opening my first credit card to even giving me some economic lessons. The bankers here are amazing. They were there for me every step of the way. Anytime I had an issue, they went above and beyond to solve my problem and then give me some more information on prevention and safety. The bankers here are very friendly, professional and always ready to help.

Just not as accommodation as other chase banks. Other branches, as a courtesy, will print out a few checks if I have needed them in the past. This branch will definitely charge you 2 dollars for 1 printed sheet.
Also when I initially came in to open an account I was told to come back later, this is the first time such a thing has ever happened to me.

To potential Stonestown Chase Bankers or Chase Bankers period. This review is more to serve as a warning to future bankers but also to highlight the idiots working for this criminal corporation. Let’s begin…
It was a sunny and wonderful… Let’s cut to the «Chase»

Telling a customer that Federal Laws are why you have to make it a «policy» to require that I be on an account of a friend to deposit cash, yes cash, is complete bulls*it. It’s because you folks at JP Morgan got your asses handed to you and now you have to follow ridiculous rules you made to avoid any future issues with Uncle Sam. Google is a son of a gun right? Anyone can look up facts.
First I walked in, wasn’t greeted, walked to the counter, proceeded to ask what to fill out on your sheet (not your customer), was directed on what to fill out, only to be told after a blatant sigh that I couldn’t be helped unless I was on the account. Again Bulls*it.
After standing in this branch, kind of thrown off by such a ridiculous policy, I called the person who owned the account, we had a moment of disbelief and I left. I left confused and a little irritated. But what happened on my walk back through the mall was what really got me pissed enough to write this love note.
I called and asked for a Branch Manager and was abruptly disconnected. But, magically my phone number was saved somewhere and the Manager on Duty called me back within minutes.
I voiced my concern and disbelief, again I’m not Chase’s customer, and was surprised when the branch manager told me that those were in fact the policies and his associate was correct. Is this a joke? Nope. Sure isn’t. I laughed and said that it was unfortunate and asked if there were any suggestions on how to fix this. This is the point I lost my s.h.i.t.
I was told by said «manager» that I could open my own new account with Chase (sounds awesome) and then write a check to my friends account, they would then deposit a check into this account, that would clear Monday or Tuesday… If, IF I opened an account. Then they could make an exception to a «Federal Law».
A few words were exchanged, I concluded the conversation saying a nice and genuine «Thank You» (more so for wasting my time, lunch break and breath) and disconnected the call.
During the call I was «educated» on why Chase was forced to make this policy (the manager lied), was offered to be open a shiny new bank account, and ultimately was left wondering why anyone would bank with these fools. So, I already shared my experience on Facebook and sure enough, it happens a lot… Everywhere.
Realistically this policy isn’t government mandated but put into place because JPMorgan lies and needed to create a legitimate path of redemption. But, for those people trying to deposit cash into a friends account, relative, someone who may be stranded or make a donation into an account is made impossible by this bank. Convenience
Is why people use banks, not necessity.
So if you’re looking for a bank and desperate, Chase at Stonestown is a great choice, well Chase in general.

I have to agree with the other reviews! Customer service is very good here. First time today, and the teller name Benny helped me! I explained to him about the service that I had with the Woodside chase in Redwood City and oh boy! May i just say they are terrible there. Putting my car note in another person’s account! Very unacceptable. They did not even take credit for what they did wrong.
But I have to say this location is very respectful professional and friendly! Thank You Benny for hearing me vent and taking care of my car note!

they never have enough bankers! they will have you wait longer than 15 minutes. its ridiculous.
avoid coming to this bank if you need something urgent.

I’m not sure if it’s because I come here after 3 that I get the grumpy employes.
This review is not for the tellers but for the bankers. The banking here is honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced. I came here in multiple occasions and dealt with different bankers. Every single time I visited this location had to come back in a week or two because they messed up the previous time. This happened for a period of almost 8 months give or take, with one or two good months where I didn’t have to come back. The reason that made me write this terrible review was my last visit. I don’t remember her name but I was helped by the lady inside the glass room. She was very rude and unprofessional when I told her I was thinking about canceling my account because of my previous experiences. Dealing with her actually made me decide on canceling my account with Chase.
Chase is not my main bank so I didn’t really mind canceling my account. It is not fair for other locations that have offered great service so I had considered opening another account. If I do though, I will never ever come to this location unless I’m simply using the ATM.

I normally don’t go here, as the student center at SFSU has its own Chase ATMs, but whenever I need to make a sizable withdrawal or a deposit while in SF, this is the Chase bank that I patronize.
It’s relatively nondescript inside. As you walk in, you will see the ATMs right in front of you and another set of doors will lead you inside to the actual bank.
Thus far, I’ve not had any issues with the employees and every transaction has been quick and hassle-​free; just the way I like it.

Everyone else seems friendly and courteous. But I have been serviced by this one banker, who is so-​called CPC. She is very rude and lack of patience. If you only go to her for service, you will more likely get everything a Dollar-​store cashier can offer you.

Clean and spacious. Great service. I was lucky enough to come on a day when it wasn’t busy especially that this bank located right by Stonestown mall, trader joes, and SFSU. So i didnt have to wait in line which made things easy and quick when depositing the money with the teller.
Theres a parking lot so its convenient if you want to go shopping before or after going to the bank

I like this Chase. Its funny whenever I come in here I chuckle at their glass cages that is apparently a protection against theft. The employees are protected by this guard like a box office concession stand. Anyway, its weird I bank at Wells Fargo usually but when I try to break my $ 20 bills they give me attitude and don’t like doing so. This branch is conveniently located next to two establishments which will immediately need spending in — McDonalds and Trader Joes — and so I need moo-​lah. This branch, without hesitation (and I’m not even a member) smiles, greets me, and breaks my bills. They give me a small envelope and a nice day. Even as I was leaving an employee (the manager?), asked if I was satisfied with the service. Hell yes! If I need to open up a loan, open another account, or need some uplifting (sad, I know), I’ll definitely come back here again.

Conveniently located next to SFSU so it’s a real snap to get set up an account with Chase and utilize their ATM on campus.
Overall friendly service, spacious, and plenty of parking.

The employees that I’ve encountered have been very nice. No complaints there. I’ve always been able to go at a non-​busy time. If anything, there’s 1 or 2 people in line ahead of me.
The traffic is a bit busy with Trader Joe’s right next door and Stonestown in general. But at lease there’s plenty of parking :)

The loan agent here believes she is doing you a favor. You will have to make time for her…
A loan agent to avoid. After applying for the loan, she tells me to go out and look for houses, not telling I wasn’t approved. After demanding for an approval letter, she finally tells me.
Coming back a couple months later. She is still lost as ever. I asked her specially what she needs from me and I ask her about running my credit, and she said she won’t just to call back later and tell me she is going to try to avoid.
I am tired of her and will not be returning…

The staff here are friendly, courteous, and professional. Most importantly, it is between McDonald’s and Trader Joe’s. This is among one of the Chase Branches with ATM“s located securely behind closed doors. Full disclosure, this is one of the amenities I’m sure every customer will like because it really makes those random late night ATM trips safer. The 4-​star & 5-​star ratings for the Chase branches I’ve been to include the fact that some of their branches have ATM’s located securely behind closed doors!
Coming here is relatively easy since it is close to San Francisco State University! I do like that they are located right in Stonestown Galleria Shopping Mall (Center)!
Other nearby banks here at Stonestown Galleria include a Bank of America right behind McDonald’s as well as a Wells Fargo Bank and Citibank within a walking distance from Macy’s!

So happy they finally have a chase that is convenient for me to go to! The branch is nice, I really like the layout. I have direct deposit so I rarely ever go into the bank but I had the same teller the two times Ive been here and she totally remembered me and asked how work was, etc.
