History

Established in 2006.

I started CAdogwalking because at the time I wanted an extra job but didn’t want to spend the extra TIME away from my own personal dog: CAdogwalking was born! I focused on off-leash group walks because the ideal walk in the park should be just that: a walk in the park, not a ‘stand and model’ at the local fenced in plot of land.

Four years ago I expanded to become a multi-person organization so that I could have days off while at the same time continue to provide seamless customer service to my clients. We are now 8 dog care professionals all of whom have great compassion and love for the dogs that we care for while being compensated fairly and with paid time off that still won’t negatively impact our clients.

I ultimately set the guidelines for us and continue to strive to provide the best and most complete service possible to our clients, but each of them brings their own care and love to the company, hopefully making us THE best in the business.

Business Owner

We are a team organization, but a little bit about me: I’m from Ithaca, New York, originally, though bounced around between Provincetown, Boston and San Francisco for a few years before I finally landed here in San Francisco around 1997. I’ve had dogs most of my life and value them as a member of my family rather than something that I ‘own’ or ‘possess.’ I currently have two retrievers both of whom ‘help’ me take care of all the dogs! :)
