Charlie’s Angels Dogwalking

Charlie and his staff are amazing. They are so great with our dog who definitely has his quirks. We never feel bad boarding him when we need to because we know how much he loves it there. We look at it more as a playdate or sleepover than boarding.
Whenever he goes to daycare/​boarding he comes back exhausted, happy, AND calm. Since he is a puppy, we have noticed that he has also learned some great behavior from the staff and the other dogs. It is so hard to find great dog walkers/​boarders that you trust to be careful, watchful, caring, professional with you and your dog, but Charlie and his staff nail it.
They are so great, easy to get ahold of for any questions or late notice reservations. I absolutely gush over the (practically professional) pictures they text message you of your dog having a blast. I would recommend them to ANYONE.

Charlie is awesome and so is his staff. He took great care of our dog Dexter for the year we lived in SF (8÷2014−7÷2015). Can’t recommend him enough — both for walking and boarding.

Charlie and his dog walking service is amazing. I trust Charlie with access to my place and the care of my fuzzy child… And he and his crew never let me down. I’m very lucky to have found this rare gem in SF.
I cannot give a stronger endorsement for his service. If he opened up a after care service for kiddos (non-​fuzzy) I would be the first to sign up!

Great service. I was looking for an extra pair of hands to look after my small dog and what they provide far exceeds what I expected — their professionalism and also consideration makes them exceptional. For instance, the first week they invested in ensuring Naomi went along and worked on recall and ensuring my dog would fit into the group, along with the regular dog walker. Twice my dog has eaten something she shouldn’t have and they informed and worked with me when they arrived after finding she was not well. When dogs are sick they offer private walks so you do not have to stay home. And they have sent me cute videos and pictures when my pup was playing, and one where she was so tired she fell asleep despite herself. Super helpful even in difficult situations, excellent at communicating — from a customer standpoint they offer an amazing service.

We’re so happy with Charlie and crew! Very reliable, caring and customer (and doggie) focused. Arrives always on time and we even get a picture or vid occasionally showing the good fun our dog is having that day on the group walk. The walkers are working on some basic training commands too — what a gift! We took advantage of Charlie’s boarding service for a long weekend and that allowed us to enjoy ourselves with piece of mind. They walked our dog, fed her the special diet food I brought and kept us informed. You guys and gals are the best!

Wow not sure where to start. Charlies Angles Dog Walkers are fantastic. I recently adopted a beautiful Puppy from SPCA. I painstakingly sourced for a Great Dog Walker and found CADW. They are great at not only providing my beautiful Sam with afternoon exercise but friendship as well.
When her walker comes to the house she goes wild with excitement. They also helped train her with «on command» response and I can now run with my dog off leash.
She’s so happy and therefore I am! Great choice, Charles Angle Dog Walking.

This review is long overdue. Lucas the wienerdog has enjoyed daycare and occasional boarding with Charlie and his wonderful team for close to 4 years. Reliable top quality care delivered by super attentive awesome dog loving humans. I love that he wags his tail when they come to collect him and then arrives home happy and exhausted. I love the emailed pictures when I’m away on vacation and Lucas is there having his own happy vacation with the pack of dogs at Charlie’s. I love the email alert that his «appointment» has started and finished. I am just so pleased with their service, I would give them 6 stars if I could.

I have been a client for about 3 – 4 months now and am very happy with their service. Communication is almost immediate when I have had questions or needed an extra walk. My dog seems to be happier on the days that he gets walked too. One of the best things about them is that they use an automated system — I get alerted when they pick up and drop off, the outcome of the walk (#1, #2, etc.) and I pay online too. They make it easy!

Can’t say enough about how awesome these guys are. Our dog spends every week day with Charlie and his fabulous staff (and boards when we’re out of town). I can say with absolute confidence that she loves it and loves them. She is a happier and healthier pooch because of her time with them, and we have absolute confidence that there isn’t a better home away from home for her. We feel so fortunate to have found Charlie! Now our only problem is that we can never move away from San Francisco, because there’s just no way we’ll find anyone who stacks up.

AMAZING!!! That is the word. Charlie and his crew are phenomenal. They are kind, caring, engaged and proactive in all their engagements with us and our Labrador Mars. We have been using his services of daily walks for more than a year. The best testament of his teams work is that on Saturday and Sunday mornings (when we have no scheduled walks) Mars is glued to the front door waiting for them to arrive and take her on an adventure. Neither you nor your pup will be dissatisfied; they are simple the best in the business. I can’t recommend Charlie’s Angles enough!

Charlie and his team have been a godsend to my boyfriend and me as we’ve adjusted to life with our first dog. When we brought our mini schnauzer home, Charlie came over within the first few days to evaluate his temperament. We were amazed how the timid pup we’d been fretting over ran right up and put his paws up on Charlie as though to say, «Hi! I already love you!» Since then, of course our dog has become an adoring member of the family, but it’s still rare to see him go hopping up and down to be picked up by someone – unless it’s one of Charlie’s team.
Charlie loves and knows dogs. His approach to them is careful (he sends us all kinds of reminders about foxtails and poison meatballs) without being fussy or stressed out. When our dog got sick from eating something awful this spring, Charlie gave us good advice on how to care for him and also gave us a lot of human coaching too. His employees are likewise calm and affectionate with the dogs, and we come home to a happy, relaxed, and tired pooch each day, so we know he’s getting great exercise and socialization. Before we signed up with Charlie, he invited us to go on a walk with one of his packs, so we were able to see how well he was able to maintain control of the group and just how much all the dogs adore him. One time my boyfriend was walking our dog and Charlie passed by in his truck with one of his team in the front, several dog snouts sniffing out the windows, and everyone was talking/​barking and having a good time: we appreciate being able to send our baby to such a dog-​loving, happy environment every day.
Charlie is also a wonderful professional and super easy to work with. He responds to any questions or requests within hours, and he always has a positive, flexible attitude. We love that he gave us a QR scanner so we can see when our dog is picked up and dropped off each day, his team is great about following our anti-​anxiety protocol (Thundershirt on, noisemaker activated) when dropping off, and they are great about sending updates when we want our little guy monitored more closely. In addition, they do Christmas gifts, group cleanups, and socials, so you really feel like Charlie’s taken you into a community when your dog joins the pack.
As many others have said, Charlie and his team are simply THE BEST!

Charlie and his team are great! He’s very reliable and modestly priced for the sort of play your dog gets. Great experience all around.

The first thing i noticed about Charlie was that he genuinely loves dogs, he gets them and wants the best for them. My puppy is like my baby and i would trust Charlie to take care of him just as i would.
I have a 2 year old golden doodle with resource guarding issues and i was looking to board him with Charlie having seen his wonderful reviews on specialized boarding. I wanted to make sure my dog could be part of his pack before trying the day care and Charlie suggested meeting for a walk. He gave me AMAZING FREE tips on how to work with the issues i was having with my dog, which worked better than the advice i had received from my well rated, very expensive trainers. Within half an hour my dog was sharing toys with Charlie’s dogs and having a great time. Charlie didn’t charge me anything for all his time and helped me figure out the best option for my dog in the long term. I didn’t end up boarding him with Charlie as we thought it would be best for my dog to stay with someone he was familiar with already.

Charlie and his Angels are the BEST! Charlie has been walking our Lab for about 6 months and also boards our pup when we are out of town. Charlie is amazing with our dog, super communicative with us and flexible with schedules. It is so obvious that Charlie cares about our dog and all the dogs he and his team walks. Our dog has some personality quirks and Charlie does a great job working with her and making sure she stays safe and healthy. Also, Charlie is a great photographer and not only sends us photo updates, but even has a Flickr group for our pup (and all the pups)! I would recommend Charlie and his Angels in a heartbeat!

Our senior dog has special needs, a quirky personality and is pretty much deaf. This combo makes it extremely difficult to find the right person to watch our boy because a boarding facility is no longer an option.
We’ve been sending our old beagle to Charlie (off and on) for the last six months and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. We provide the medication, food, treats and a toy… Charlie picks up the rest.
Our pooch comes home happy and tired from all of the exercise, action and fun. Charlie’s home is truly a home away from home (couches included) for our little guy!

I don’t even own a dog, but I’m reviewing Charlie because I encountered him and his «little’s» crew recently in Buena Vista Park while I was walking my niece (an 11 year old Schnauzer). I was absolutely impressed. His gentle leadership struck me as he gathered his group for a photo on some stairs. I couldn’t believe he was successfully directing them, just with his words, to convene on the stairs and look at the camera. He is calm, kind and has amazing control over the pack. He is a strong but kind — like an ideal parent. I was so impressed and told him so. Now I’m telling you. He’s just lovely!

if i could give charlie a 100 stars i would. lobo (my 108 lb german shepherd) stays with charlie when i go out of town and knowing how charlie loves and cares for his dogs, i am at ease knowing my dog is being taken care of (probably) better with charlie than with me =) charlie is the best doggie care giver i know. his whole life is centered around our fury babies and im thankful for charlie and his walking/​boarding services. i have seen many dog walkers who really don’t care about the dogs they walk and have even seen animal abuse by some. if you want a true animal lover taking care of your pet, you should definitely become charlies angel —

Charlie is the best! And so is his support team! He cares for and loves my dog I think as much as I do. I 100% trust him with my baby and know that he is looking out for her and her best interest. He’s extremely communicative about her with me. I boarded Gertie with him for 2 weeks when I was in Europe. I was very nervous because this was the first time I left her even though I couldn’t trust anyone more than Charlie. He emailed me daily photos and notes to put my mind at ease. I greatly appreciated that. He goes above and beyond and that is priceless!

This review is long overdue considering how long Charlie has walked my two girls for… something like 4 or 5 years. I can’t even remember a time without Charlie!
Charlie deserves all of the accolades his business has received and now that he has hired 2 other dogwalkers he has room for more dogs. Charlie is also going to be starting a «smalls» group for the sub-​twenty pound dogs.
Charlie also does dog boarding in his own home, all crate free, and access to his backyard.
So there you have it, a true dog person and a great human being doing a bang up job serving the furrier side of San Francisco.

We met Charlie 2 years ago when our 16 year old Jack Russell needed a temporary home while we took an extended vacation. Charlie gave her the best months of her life! Before this, when we took her to the park she was aggressive and would lunge at other dogs. We didn’t think she could change but Charlie got her integrated into his pack without any trouble. She made it for another few months after we got home, but we know that the end of her life was special because of the time she spent with Charlie.
Since then we’ve adopted two new rescue dogs, and they’ve both become pack members. He’s been able to get them off leash with good recall. They’re fit and happy and super socialized because of their time in the park with Charlie. He also helps with our cats if we’re out of town.
One of the best things about Charlie’s service is his Pict of the Day on Facebook. He’s got a great sense of humor and he’s a really good photographer. You’ll love seeing your dog and friends in beautiful or even silly scenes. I have no idea how he gets them to cooperate and pose.
Highly, highly recommended!
