I had a lumpy bruise on my back as a result of a dancing injury, and after waiting first for my primary doctor to refer me to the UCSF walk-​in clinic, and then waiting there a couple of hours only to be told it would be a couple of hours more, I was at my wit’s end. Called a buddy who is a regular client of Dr. Holley’s for advice. He called the doctor, who graciously agreed to return to the office on a freezing December night, and then proceeded to give me the right treatment for my back, as well as common-​sense advice on what to do for a followup.
He is a good listener, has a terrific touch, and did not make me feel like my questions were stupid. His prices are extremely reasonable, and he did not pressure me to choose only chiropractic over conventional medicine, which has happened often in the past. He urged me to see an MD in the morning if my symptoms were worse. The whole experience made me feel like he was sincerely trying to help me be well as opposed to just getting me to be a repeat customer.
He’s got a sense of humor, which counts for a lot, and although I have seen chiropractors maybe a dozen times in my life, I will recommend him without hesitation.
His office is really close to the N, the 22 Fillmore, and the 6 or 71 up Haight if you don’t have a car.

I had the chance to get my back re-​adjusted twice at this place. Can’t complain, the job was done the way I expected it, not too pricey at all, and the chiropractor has a great personality.
plus when you’re done, you can go have a tea at the Café du Soleil’s outside tables, it’s half a block away from the clinic!
I definitely recommend it.
