Carla is amazing! I went to her after having the same hairstyle and color for a couple of years. After having a baby I wanted a change and I wanted something far from boring and Carla gave me just that. I gave her free rein and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the end result. Will definitely be coming back.

I am so obsessed with my hair right now. I can’t stop looking at it! Carla is hair goddess! She is defiantly an hidden gem. I’ve finally found my hair stylist. Someone who did not disappoint me, someone who made me walk out the salon like a brand new woman and most importantly someone who I can from now on trust my hair with. I really love the fact how she actually cares about her clients unlike a lot of other salons I’ve been to they just care about this, $. I wish I wasn’t so sleepy and dead when I went in to do my hair, because my experience would of been even better. She was more excited then I was on how my hair would turn out to be. Carla put in so much effort doing my hair. It was like she was working on a painting. Painting every strand of my hair working her magic! I can’t wait to come back from my trip or when I’m free so I can go in her salon and have her touch up my hair again. Thank you Carla !!

I think my favorite part about Carla is just how smart she is. I can tell even in conversation that she is constantly reading, learning, studying and absorbing information to make smart decisions for not only herself but the people in her life.
Given that, when you walk in for a consultation and explain to her what you want, she is current and well read and knows what the current fashion trends are, and what will work for you hair and skin tone.
On top of that, her compassion for people kicks in. Her choices in methodology are very personal and in favor for you to ensure that you have a good experience, and her number one priority is the integrity of your hair.
The combination of the two always ends in bombshell results. She takes into consideration if you were a referral or referred a friend and will offer discounts. She’s knowledgable of the products and product line and can make honest recommendations on what to use to maintain the health of your hair.
And her communication and integrity to time is on point — which is a major logistical factor. Still new to business and running and managing things herself, she takes the calls and texts, as well as scheduling and bookings. When this is the case, you want to work with someone who’s not going to forget your appointments, be there for you on time, and respond to you when you reach out for an inquiry or appt. Carla has proven herself in flying colors and is my number one recommendation for a color correction, styling, and all beauty advice in the bay area.
She will make you feel good inside and out!

I can not wait to go back to Carla again and have her work her magic on my hair! I was referred by a friend who has amazing hair and hair color and now I can proudly refer my own friends to Carla too! I have been bouncing around hair salons for the past few years since the person I used to go to moved away and I have finally found my new go to stylist! I was so impressed with the precise, attention to detail of this hair cut! I don’t get my hair cut often enough and probably because the last few stylists have spend very little time with the actual cut… not Carla… she spent almost a half hour just with the wet cut making sure to eliminate all my split ends and damage. My hair not only looked 1,000 times better and felt healthy but I walked out feeling completely happy… not the pretend happy/can’t wait to get home and try to make sense of this cut and style at home like I have felt in the past. Or the feeling that I spent good money on a cut that was barely worth it. She was upbeat and fun to talk to but also let me be silent too (it was the end of a long day and week!) Best of all she truly loves what she does and enjoys each client as if they were the first client of the day-​her energy is fresh and fun and you walk away wanting to go out someplace fun with your amazing new hair. And she did an OrleoPlex treatment on my hair that is going to be a regular MUST for all my visits.

I am seriously so happy I have Carla in my life. She has brought me out of my god awful hair rut, and I was so deep in there.
She is amazing at hair cut, styling, conditioning treatments, blow outs, and up-​dos. Anything you ask for, she can do it! She has even mastered the transition up-​do that is a complete up-​do using thread of my exact hair color. And when you cut the thread, it transitions into a half-​down look. Mind-​blown!!!
I love the haircuts by Carla. She listened to exactly what you want, and does nothing more. She will recommend certain things, but never pushes it on you.
She is also very informative about the health of your hair, and what conditioning treatments and shampoos will help with your specific hair type.
And want to know the icing on the cake??? Carla is the SWEETEST hair stylist I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Time flies by as we sit and chat about any and everything for the duration of my appointment. Next thing I know, my hair looks PERFECT, and it’s time for me to go home! So sad

I am absolutely obsessed with my hair ever since I’ve been coming to Carla. She restored the health of my hair, while still keeping me super blonde. She also does an amazing job on my extensions. They’re perfectly blended and don’t damage my real hair at all! :)

So after 15 years of going to the same barber I finally decided to try something new. I guess part of growing up is trying out a new hair style. A friend of mine recommend me to give Carla a try and I have to say I owe her a big THANK YOU! For the first time in my life I started receiving compliments about my hair cut, other then hearing about how its a good thing that I have a full head of hair. Carla has refined my look, I now have a hair cut thats trendy but at the same time I am able to maintain my professional appearance. The salon she works in is very clean and has a great vibe. There are good beats playing in the back ground. The fact that there are usually pretty women in the salon doesn’t hurt there case either. Carla makes process of getting a haircut as painless as possible, we usually spend the time chatting away and before you know it my hair is done and I am ready to go with my new fresh hairdo. Parking is super easy at this location since there is a huge lot directly across the street which isn’t too expensive. Also if you need to kill sometime before a haircut there is a Starbucks on the corner.

Hands down my favorite hair stylist in San Francisco! I used to get the cheap men’s haircuts and they’d always blend weird and grow out uneven. Carla’s haircuts look great from day one and last longer as well. This is because she is highly talented, but also pays exceptional attention to detail. She’s also a great person to talk to and joke around with. Great cuts, good energy. Highly recommended for men and women. Make sure to contact her in advance because she gets booked up fast!

Since moving to the city 10 months ago I have been searching for a new stylist. Before meeting Carla I would walk away from my haircuts feeling less than awed. Well no more! I have been awed! This lady knows hair! I showed her a couple pictures and she asked me questions no stylist has ever asked me before – important questions people! Then she worked her magic! She approached my hair like a customizable piece of art, «Designing» my new hair. It was all so exciting! She also had lots of great suggestions too, things that only someone who truly knows and loves styling would know. I walked out with a smile on my face, hair better than I imagined and full intentions of going back. I have finally found my stylist :)

This awesome lady knows hair like nobody’s business. I don’t give a lot of good reviews (as you can see) but Carla totally earned this. I have been following her since she was a tadpole in beauty school. I knew immediately that she is a gem. You either have it or don’t. She explains what she’s going to do, gives options A, B, and/​or C, and she is very thorough. I always leave feeling fine and fabulous! Thanks Carla!

I have been coming to they lovely Carla since I moved to San Francisco two years ago. She works magic every time! Not only does she do amazing things with color and styling but she is always eager to offer me tips on how to keep my hair looking excellent and healthy for as long as possible.
Plus the salon is ultra clean and gives off an adorable boho chic vibe, I love it!
