C J Kerls at Guaranteed Rate

This review is for CJ and team. What an awesome and amazing team I got to work with! Being a first time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions and concerns at each step of the way. I am needy… to say the least, and on top it all, I expect A LOT.
CJ is on top of it all, he is responsive, knowledgeable, and overall a really nice guy. I remembered getting an e-​mail one morning, super early… not sure if it was the weekend or not, but I was like… WOW, he’s working at all hours!
I was skeptical about being able to close in 17 days as our contingency. The team was able to get everything to close within a record breaking 14 days!
I had worked with Citibank at an earlier offer and while they had slightly lower rates, they were not attentive, not responsive, and I highly doubt they would have been able to stick with our strict contingency. I liked not being stressed out about the other party doing their job, and knowing that my best interest is being kept in mind.
I would work with CJ and the team again and hopefully I will in the future.

CJ is great. I was hesitant to go through a broker rather than directly to a big bank but the proof is in the pudding. I shopped around BofA, Chase and USAA but CJ got me the best rate on my loan. After my initial pre-​approval things just got better. My final interest rate was LOWER and so were all my fee’s. What a pleasant surprise! CJ saved me tens of thousands of dollars.
