I didn’t actually end up going with them for my invitations because I ended up ordering them online, but I would recommend them in a heartbeat. After a frustrating experience with another invitation store(Paper Caper) with terrible customer service and communication, I turned to Burns and Associates to help. Linda was responsive, timely, honest, and more helpful than I could’ve imagined. Every time I called with another question, she was never frustrated, but wanted me to be happy with end product, even if I didn’t go with them directly, which spoke volumes to me. If she is this helpful with a customer that wasn’t paying for anything, I can only imagine what she does for her clients that do go with her. She was busy with other clients, but always got back to me when she said she would. I can’t speak on the end results of the products, but I can tell from the caring charisma she and another associate spoke with, they wouldn’t serve less than acceptable. Give them a shot for your wedding invitations!

I have a graphic design background, but no longer have the burning desire, time, and energy to create anything printed … this also applies to my own wedding invitations. Searching online and locally for well-designed, quality invitations, custom or mass produced was a time consuming and difficult task. I scoured hundreds of images and found myself reluctantly flipping through card store catalogues, in hopes of finding something that would delight and also save me from becoming a graphic designer again. I’ve always respected and admired letterpress printing for being one of the finest(and most expensive), traditional, printing techniques reserved for very special events. Our wedding was a time to bite the bullet and go letterpress. In SF, «retro» looking designs were more readily available as a letterpress option, which wasn’t our first choice, but we were open to it. TWICE, I called a pretty well-Yelped reviewed stationery studio that offered these looks, but they did NOT return my voice mail the first time. The second try, I wanted to see if they would allow me to browse their selections within that day(called in the morning on a Wednesday), granted it was last minute, but still, it was a no go. Parked in my car, with no invitation resources to head to, I Googled«letterpress, wedding invitation, san francisco» … up popped«Burns & Associates». I called them on the spot and they welcomed me to come by anytime! I drove over to the Laurel Village area, within a residential street, walked through a little alleyway between homes and entered their lovely studio. I was greeted warmly, like a friend, by Jamie. She offered me a seat and had already pulled aside some catalogues and samples of the most beautifully designed letterpressed invitation suites. I was INLOVE. I mean, I LOVED everything she showed me … I tell ya, it was so refreshing after flipping through pages of mediocre designs at the other mainstream card shops. Immediately, we got our order underway. The entire process and our service from Burns was professional, and wonderful. We were not a number somewhere. Our invitations were the best I’ve seen. I look forward to working with them again! Having used Linda Burns & Associates for a number of printing projects(high profile event invitations, brochures, etc) in the past for work, I went straight to them when I needed to print my own wedding invitations. The staff are incredibly professional, organized, and patient, and their pricing is very fair. After looking through their seemingly endless supply of invitation binders, I decided to do custom invitations; they were helpful every step of the way. My invitations just arrived today, beautiful and exactly as I wanted!
