Brute Box Moving Boxes

I found Brute Box from simple google search. I chose them based on price and their location/​coverage. I did have one issue with ordering from their website that was a bug in their site and had to call them to order. Beyond that, I was very happy with the service. I used the service not for a move but during some house renovation to clear rooms. For both the drop-​off and pickup of the crates the driver was precisely on time at the start of the given window. I ordered the 40 box package and added a hand truck. The stacks of empty crates are easy to move on their own rolling dolly. They are typical stackable plastic crates with top interlocking lid. All equipment seemed very new and in perfect shape. In the end I decided I could have used the 25 box package but the first could cardboard boxes I packed prior to getting the Brute boxes made it seem I was going to need some much larger count. I ended up keeping boxes for 2 weeks and they sent email a day before pickup and I simply said I needed another week. All in all, a perfect experience and I would use again.

I’ve used Brute Box twice now for moving and both times the experience was stellar. The boxes are easy to stack and move — something my family and the movers all appreciated. It was also great not having to obtain, assemble, tape, disassemble, and get rid of cardboard boxes!
The drop-​off and pickup times windows were flexible and the driver always arrived on time. Highly recommended and will use again for future moving needs!

The perfect choice for a move. The boxes were perfect for our «move» of our stuff to the garage to get our floors replaced. It is way better than cardboard boxes that have to be recycled. The ease of ordering and the customer service was fantastic. The pick and delivery time windows were reasonable and strictly adhered to. I would absolutely use Brute Box again and recommend them to anybody for their move.

Genius. I hate finding boxes for a move. You can buy them too, but they aren’t all that cheap, and you need to tape them up. If you are doing a big move (5 people, big house) this is a total pain. Then on the other side of the move, you have to break them all down, make them small enough to get into your recycling bins and spend the next several weeks getting rid of them in the weekly pick up. These are awesome. Easy to pack and move, sturdy, came with labels and easy to stack. What we paid for in renting these, we recouped in a faster move, resulting in us spending less overall (the moving company gave us an estimate and we came in well under that because it was so speedy due to the boxes). There’s another advantage to these boxes if you are a procrastinator. Because they need to be returned (and the longer you rent, the pricer it gets) you have a HUGE incentive to get unpacked quickly at the new place. While that may be a little painful, it’s better than putting the boxes in your garage or closets for months/​years, forgetting what is even in there. I also, at the last minute, realized I needed more boxes, and they delivered them very quickly. A huge help. Will never use cardboard again.
I’ll add one more thing, we happened to move on a VERY rainy day. Would have been a soggy mess had all our things been in cardboard, but these boxes protect your things.

Really recommend this for moving boxes. They dropped off on time and picked up on time. Excellent service and no card board to get rid of after the move.

Used Brute Box for a recent move and it was an excellent decision– not only was it super convenient not to have to make multiple trips collecting cardboard boxes, and taking the time to put them together with tape, then break them down and recycle them after the move, but having a uniform size for the boxes makes stacking them so much easier. Also, the customer service was great– prompt and personal. It was a great deal and I would absolutely use Brute Box again for my next move!

We moved in office and used this boxes. They are on the heaver side, so good if you are moving a bunch of things.

I’ve used Brute Box for two separate moves and have been very impressed with the service! It’s easy to book online, very affordable (compared to cardboard, tape, etc), they always arrive on time, and the boxes have made my moves much easier and faster overall!

If you need large, durable crates — this is your place! I used Brute Box on a recent office move. Their website was super easy to navigate and help me decide how many boxes I’d actually need. Their service couldn’t have gone smoother — they dropped the boxes off on time and were very easy to communicate with. When it came time for them to pickup the boxes, I mistakingly left a few at the old office and the guy followed me over there and made an extra trip to pick them up. Hands down would use them again!

By far the easiest move I’ve ever done! The delivery and pick up guys were on time every time and they provided me with everything I needed; super friendly too. Worth every penny and it was a total bargain. The movers were happy to see the rollers and the move went by faster than expected; saved money there again.

I had an excellent first time experience using Brute Box for move within SF over the past weekend. We used 30 bins to move a 1 bedroom apartment, and could have used about 5 more bins to hold everything. Our movers didn’t have any problem transporting the bins down an elevator and up three flights of stairs. The conveniences of Brute Box bins (no waste, stackable, durable, no setup, delivery and pick up) made them more than worth the reasonable rental fee. The only downside is that the bins are slightly heavier than cardboard boxes. The Brute Box employees were very responsive via phone and email. They were even able to pick up the bins a day earlier than planned.

Brute box made packing a lot less stressful. Boxes where dropped off and picked up on schedule. They arrived clean and ready to be packed.
Movers loved the boxes, it was efficient and quick since the boxes stacked nicely.
Took us 3 days to pack 1 day to move and 3 days to unpack. It really makes you get to work to pack everything and unpack everything. No more procrastinating and unpacked boxes from years ago.
In comparison to buying cardboard boxes, it was comparable in price and definitely a lot more environmental friendly.
No tape, no need to construct and break down the boxes. No more lugging to recycling. Saves time and money.

This service was AMAZE-​BALLS!!! I hate moving, packing, unpacking… all of it. The clutter of boxes and tape drives my nuts as well. My boyfriend and I were moving into a new apartment in the same complex and he told me a lot of his co-​workers at Apple used the service so I started researching. I am so glad I did. It is reasonably priced, I feel like by the time you buy boxes, and all that other crap from Home Depot to move you would have paid at least $ 50 more than Brute Box. Not to mention it saved me the mental anguish from having to breakdown, and take boxes to the trash. They picked up and dropped off the boxes right non time as well. The guys were so nice and personable, you can tell they really enjoy working for the company. Packing and keeping the boxes out of my way was great too, there was not all this extra clutter while we waited for the movers to come. It probably shaved a good hour off our move time too because the boxes were easily stacked, and came with labels for us to tag on the side.
The best part was the accountability for me. I knew I had a hard set pick up date for the boxes to be picked up so I think we got unpacked in RECORD time. I am pretty sure I would still have boxes shoved in a closet somewhere if we did not use Brute Box. I will be using this service again. No doubt. Try it out, and if you don’t love it… then you probably hate being efficient.

the dudes are brute box were life savers. my best friend recommended them and I can’t compliment the service, the delivery or the communication enough. totally fluid from the reservation through the pickup. I will never move without using them again. it was perfect for a move in the city; convenient, reasonable pricing and zero waste. Initially, I chose to go with Brute Box since they are $ 10 cheaper than ZippGo. What I ended up getting weren’t just awesome boxes (which protected my things, were loved by the movers, and allowed me to pack in a greener & more convenient way) but some of the BEST customer service I’ve experienced in a while.
They were on time, very quick to respond to email inquiries, and had a helpful reminder the day before pick-​ups/​drop-​offs. I ended up changing my pick-​up time twice and they were very accommodating. The next time I move, I’ll definitely use Brute Box again!

Made a move after 20+ years in an apartment. Didn’t want to collect boxes for the move so I checked out Brutebox. The price was completely reasonable and the drop off/​pick up makes it easy. Driver arrived on time for drop off and pick up. Was nice to be able to order bubble wrap at same time. Also got some moving straps, but they remain a mystery as to the use and usefulness — maybe skip those if you’re not renting a dolly. Totally recommend these boxes.

I used Brute Box for my move and it was a seamless process from the beginning! I knew I didn’t want to deal with the waste of cardboard boxes, so began researching online for boxes to rent. Two words come to mind when it comes to Brute Box: life saver.
My fiancé and I began the daunting task of packing up our one bedroom (it’s amazing how much crap two people can accumulate) and began the typical, kind of shady search for cardboard boxes, when he stumbled upon Brute Box. A few clicks later and we had set up our Brute Box delivery, which was incredibly seamless.
Having Brute Box made packing and moving so much simpler. The boxes stacked nicely both when empty and full and were easy to transport. They also came with two rolling dollies that cut down our amount of trips from the moving van to the apartment and made everything much lighter and less of a headache.
The day we moved it was absolutely down pouring, we were really lucky to have used Brute Box which kept our belongings nice and dry. The few cardboard boxes we did use were soaked.
After our move, pick up of the boxes was seamless again. I can’t stress how much easier Brute Box makes the moving process. Bonus points? They included zip ties and blank labels for the boxes.
Customer service was excellent, Adam made our experience great. Hopefully we won’t be moving again soon but I highly recommend Brute Box for any move, big or small!

We had a plumbing leak in our house and needed to pack up an area right away. I ordered boxes at 6pm and emailed them to ask if they could expedite the boxes. I got a call right away and they delivered the boxes and packing materials along with a dolly early the next day. I also had to extend my rental twice due to changes in the repair schedule. At the end of the day I paid a bit more than cardboard, but not that much more, and the boxes were versatile and easy to deal with. Also, I didn’t have to dispose of them afterward, as they came promptly at the scheduled time to pick them up. I highly recommend this service.

Brute Box is the simply the best! Easy, online ordering, fast response times, and perfect service. The boxes arrived clean and ready to go, and they threw in an extra dolly for free! They also included labels and a ton of zip ties for extra box security. Boxes were delivered on time at my front door with a smile. Pickup was a bit delayed, but I received a phone call alerting me of the delay and it was no problem.

Brute Box Moving was amazing! They were super speedy, prompt, and communicative with their delivery and pickup. The boxes themselves are great — no more complicated Tetris maneuvers in the moving van — the boxes stack and fit perfectly. Five star service! Wow wow wow. First of all the price was amazing. I had to call to use my Unilocal coupon and the experience was seamless. They dropped off the crates and left an extra dolly which helped a lot. I realized I wouldn’t have time to unpack and return the boxes in time. I contacted Adam and he very easily extended my time for an unbelievable inexpensive fee. I hope I don’t have to move again but if I do I will be using this service. We moved a couple days ago in San Francisco and Brute Box really is a lifesaver. We needed about an 10 extra boxes at the last minute so just used cardboard and the additional hassle and cost is just not worth it. Super friendly and responsive and stuck to drop off and pickup times which takes a lot of stress out of an already stressful situation. We actually had the founder deliver our boxes personally and it is no surprise this is a smooth and efficient operation. Great business. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Made my move significantly easier, highly recommend. Sturdy boxes stacked easily when empty or full. Loved not having to fight with cardboard boxes on the front end and deal with throwing them away after the move. Simple online ordering. Dropoff/​pickup exactly on schedule. I don’t usually write Unilocal reviews (like, ever) but I basically find moving to be an incredibly stressful experience, whether across the country or across town. I think it’s helpful to put some guidance/​advice out there. I just want to say that Brute Box is absolutely worth it and will make your move that much easier. The pricing is very competitive, they come exactly when they say they will be there, they are friendly and communicative and put you at ease. Highest possible recommendation and a tremendous value that will make your move much more manageable.

I loved the Brute Box experience! My boyfriend and I moved from two separate apartments into one and Brute Box made the whole process SO much easier. We got a combined 40 boxes.
Adam, the owner, went above and beyond! He was responsive and very accommodating via the chat option on the website. On the drop off day, he was perfectly punctual as all the previous reviews mentioned. We could hear him unloading the boxes outside so they’d be ready to go at our scheduled time. He even threw in a second dolly for free when he learned we were moving from two different apartments. We loved hearing the story of how he started the company — he was friendly, trustworthy, and efficient.

Eco-​friendly and way easier than cardboard boxes. I was originally just looking for a used box store and stumbled upon Brute Box. So convenient to boxes them delivered to your house ready to pack up – you can just start packing immediately and not have all this box-​building-​prep. They came and picked the boxes up, earlier than scheduled (at my request) and Adam was very responsive over email. Great experience, do it!
Here’s all the stuff I *didn’t* have to do:
— Go load up cardboard boxes in my car
— Unfold and tape up all the boxes
— Breakdown all the boxes
— Take all the boxes to a recycle place

The entire experience was Fantastic!

Time: Adam arrived exactly when he said he would for both the first drop off and the pick up after the move.
Ease: All you had to do was take a bin off of the stack, fill it, close it and stack the full bins. AMAZING. It takes you about 1 minute to assemble the bottom of a real box. That would have been 1 hour of assembling boxes to pack (not counting time to close them up). I would have needed to use more boxes than bins. Why? The bins can hold more weight. They stack and don’t crush/​break each other. We used all 50 Bins and only used 3 cardboard boxes extra for things we had to bring into the new house the day before moving.
Efficient: I’m not a very big nor strong person. So I’d fill a bin up and close it, then put another on top and do the same. This way I could fill the bins at normal height. It significantly minimized bending over, lifting etc. I’d then either slide the bins onto another finished stack or start one. If it was a particularly heavy bin I just placed it on the dolly and rolled it to my finished bin pile.
Organized: This was the most organized move we’ve ever had. We had the bins stacked in groups of 4 – 5. They took up a small section of our living room. We could write a lot on the labels provided: Kitchen (Pots/​Pans). This was fantastic when we were unpacking.
LOVED by the MOVERS: We were forced to hire a moving company due to the HOA regulations at the condo we had been renting. The movers brought a metal dolly that had the bottom shoot out underneath a bin stack. They would then tilt the stack backwards and 5 bins were out the door. They dropped the stack and pressed the retract button on their dolly platform. Done. No lifting, carrying etc. Our move in took 1hr 20m. It was a BREEZE.
Protection: I wrapped every glass, dish etc that I packed. My boyfriend wrapped practically nothing. I unpacked bins with glass ware, decorations, alcohol etc that had zero protection other than a few other objects as buffers. Nothing broke. Nothing.
I would use BruteBox again. And again and again. Never having to hear the sound of packing tape being peeled off the roll is fine by me. No more building boxes, damaged goods etc. We don’t get much rain in San Francisco but the day I moved into my old condo it was POURING. I would have never had any issues if I had used BruteBox for that move.
