Broken Seal Buttons

I love Broken Seal Buttons! I needed to order some buttons for work, but only needed about 30. Thats way too small for most big button companies, and I work at a small nonprofit so I try to keep costs at a minimum and avoid shipping. I’m so glad I found Broken Seal Buttons. Kevin was helpful in putting together a high quality design and sending me a proof within hours. Once I approved the proof, the buttons were done that day. So speedy!
The price was great — less than a dollar for big buttons. They look fantastic and really professional.
Of course I’m happy with the buttons, but also got the chance to chat with Kevin a bit when I picked them up. He is really kind and I’ll be back to support his business in the future. Its a great small business run with a lot of heart, and I highly recommend! I’m already thinking of reasons to make more buttons!

Kevin is AWESOME. He responded super quick to my email, made a mock up of the button, and I had the buttons in hand within a day. I called him back because I needed a few more and he had them ready right away. He didnt even want to charge me for them but with the awesome work he does and the great communication and quickness he deserves to be paid for the awesome work he does. Thank you so much Kevin. An absolutely well deserved 5 star review. I was just blown away at Kevin’s phenomenal customer service. I sent him a crappy design I made in Microsoft word and he professionally laid it out to spec with bleeds etc, emailed me a proof the next morning, and finished pressing the buttons that afternoon. It literally took less than 24 hours from the time I called to the time I had them in hand. He is gregarious, helpful, and so fast! Prices are extremely reasonable (maybe too reasonable). I would highly recommend Broken Seal Buttons to anyone.

I was asked yesterday to purchase buttons for an event happening today! As soon as I spoke with Kevin, I knew that it we were going to pull it off and that we would have a great product. Kevin made physical mock-​ups of the buttons and showed them with me super fast. He even suggested additional features, like writing on the edges of the button, that I didn’t know were available at no additional cost. We picked our favorite and he made another round of prototypes to confirm our order. I was able to pick them up today with plenty of time to distribute them before our event. Amazing!

I agree with everyone who gave 5 stars. Heck, I’d give 6 stars if I could! Initially I was a bit skeptical ’cause Unilocal seemed way too positive. So I called up the place on a thursday in hopes of getting a job in by a sunday event. Kevin was completely flexible about the order, very straightforward about the pricing, and very fun to talk to as well! The buttons came out perfect (Kevin even made sure to go back and forth with me over email to clarify what I exactly wanted). Hit them up if you ever need a job well done. These guys know what they are doing, but more importantly, they listen to their customers! I will be back.

These guys are the best! Can’t say enough about how nice and generous the owner is. I ran in here to print a contract for a new job and asked for 2 copies– not only did he print me out 3 (and put them in a folder) but then he would refuse payment. Blown away by his good deed which totally made my day. He wished me good luck on my new job and his gestures meant the world to me. Thank god for kind hearted people like this.

This is why I will forever love Broken Seal Buttons:
My office is having a housewarming party, and all the organizations housed in the office space planned to buy buttons for guest gifts. We had a week deadline to get these to our office, and we ordered from one company (with a terribly high printing and shipping premium), who then called us the next day and said they didn’t have them in the size we wanted.
5 days to go till the party, I find Broken Seal, call Kevin, who says yes he can do it, and we should send a file over. He sends back a proof in less than an hour (which is an actual attached picture of our buttons, vs a digital proof), and we were able to print a special message on the curve of the button. We needed them shipped in time for the party, and they arrive on our doorstep 2 days before the event.
In the meantime, the 3 other organizations in our collective were also delayed in purchasing their buttons, so they then reach out to Kevin 2 days before the party. Their buttons arrive the morning of the event. Amazing.

had a great experience! as always, i procrastinated to get something done. Looked on Unilocal and found this place. I called Kevin on a monday for an order of 100 3in buttons. He said they wont get a shipment in until Wednesday or even Thursday for that size, but will have them done Friday morning (I had a flight to catch). Sure enough, he sent me an email Thursday and called to confirm when they were done! So quick. Easy. And he didnt charge extra for expedited services. I recommend them to procrastinators and punctual folks everywhere =)

I had a really awesome experience with broken seal buttons and I was so happy to support a small local business. I sent my design to the guys, they immediately created a mock up, I got back to them with some changes, and they have the buttons ready in less than 48 hours. You need buttons? Broken Seal Buttons in San Francisco is terrific. The product is excellent. The price is good. The turn around time is quick (without a ‘rush order’ fee). Kevin had mock-​ups of my art work made into buttons to help me make decisions about button size… and when I went to pick-​up my buttons, I even liked the people. Oh — and the product is excellent. Kevin was really really helpful filling out a pretty big order on short notice. I needed 1000 buttons to promote NOW! — a community festival we produced in the Panhandle area of the city.
Kevin was incredibly responsive and he even printed up a small batch so I could decide what size I needed for the rest of the run. We coordinated a couple different pick up times to fit my schedule and he was genuinely excited about and supportive of our work. He even took some time to show me how his machines work and all that.
I’ll be placing all my future button orders with Broken Seal Buttons.

Kevin helped adjust my work to my liking and even mocked up two button sizes for me to choose what would be best.
