We are committed to fighting for the rights of individuals, focusing on civil litigation and dispute resolution. Greg Brod has been helping victims of personal injuries (car accident, bike accident, pedestrian v. auto, dog bites, bus crash, motorcycle accidents), landlord-​tenant disputes, and legal (attorney) malpractice cases, for over 16 years. The Brod Law Firm has helped many small businesses resolve complex disputes, and we do not represent large corporations or insurance companies.

Greg Brod has fought for the rights of family members who have lost a loved one in wrongful death cases, and has helped many people with serious and permanent injuries, including spinal injuries, brain injuries, and emotional distress, including post-​traumatic stress disorder.

Gregory J. Brod started the Brod Law Firm, P.C. in San Francisco at the beginning of 2004 with the plans of fighting for the rights of individuals and small businesses.

Gregory Brod received his B.A. degree from the University of Maryland, his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1996. Mr. Brod, a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and Consumer Attorneys of California, has argued and tried cases across the State of California involving serious personal injuries and wrongful death, legal malpractice, oil and gas, and business disputes, and has obtained many millions of dollars on behalf of his clients who have been injured or wronged, and has helped his business clients save many millions of dollars, as well. Greg Brod is a sports agent, a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Players Association, and a member of the Sports Lawyers Association. Greg Brod’s track record of fighting for people’s rights in the highest ethical manner translates into a style of representing athletes that is not common in today’s competitive sports business.

When it comes to Landlord/​Tennant issues (that’s what he helped me with) you’d be hard pressed to find a better attorney in California. Greg is very professional, compassionate and gets things done fast. We didn’t even have to file a law suit and got a favorable outcome in a matter of several months. I’d highly recommend Greg as an attorney and should I ever need one again he will be the one I call.

I have not written many reviews but I felt I had to share my positive experience with Greg Brod, — he helped me during a very stressful time. I faced a possible eviction due to using Airbnb from my 17 year-​long– rent controlled apartment in San Francisco. A lot of times when you need to hire a lawyer it’s not for the best of circumstances. Any time you get into a dispute it is bound to be unpleasant, but Greg does such a fantastic job of keeping you informed and feeling positive that it really helps to alleviate the pressures and stress associated with a lawsuit.

Though I’ve been an almost daily Unilocal lurker for years, this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review.
We were involved in a traumatic landlord situation and weren’t sure where to turn for help. After we were literally forced to flee the rental property in fear, a trusted attorney friend recommended Greg Brod.
When I looked at Greg’s website and saw that he was a personal injury lawyer, I questioned how he could adequately help us with a landlord problem. But it became clear in our first meeting that he was our guy. Greg was extremely knowledgeable in and could clearly explain how the California and San Francisco rent ordinances (and associated case law) pertained to our case. But more importantly it was immediately evident that he was a trustworthy guy who truly cared about us and what we had gone through (unlike other lawyers I had contacted who talked fees first, possible action later).
Greg handled our case with a laser-​focused determination to right the wrongs we had been forced to endure. Greg worked his ass off for well over a year, skillfully fighting for everything we were due in compensation and leading us to a fair settlement. Throughout the entire process, we were in constant communication, with Greg always putting our needs first and deferring to our wishes. Though we’ll never get back those six months of hell living under the filth-​encrusted boot of a scumlord bully, we won a happy outcome – and a good friend.
