Established in 2013.

Breuer Design LLC is a San Francisco based practice and was established in 2013 by Martin Breuer, a fully qualified German architect. Prior to establishing Breuer Design LLC, he gained experience as a project architect in firms in London, UK, Zurich, Switzerland and Germany working on small to medium sized commercial and residential projects. His philosophy is now best described as modern minimalism with a focus on simple and elegant designs and details. Breuer Design LLC is associated with Ruff&Associates.

Business Owner

Martin began his professional career as a carpenter in 1997 and became a fully qualified German architect in 2008, after studying architecture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany. Prior to establishing Breuer Design LLC in 2013, he gained experience acting as a project architect in firms in London, UK, Zurich, Switzerland and Dortmund, Germany working on small to medium sized commercial and residential projects. Project values ranged from $ 250,000 to $ 4.3 million.

Studying at the Bauhaus University defined Martin´s focus and skills in the clean and minimalistic ideas of the Bauhaus-​era and translated these into present day needs. His philosophy is now best described as modern minimalism with a focus on simple and elegant designs and details.

After moving to San Francisco, Martin associated with Ruff&Associates and established Breuer Design LLC.
