Business Owner
Kaz started his professional culinary career as a sushi chef in Los Angeles fourteen years ago. After cooking at such restaurants as Iroha Sushi of Tokyo and Sushi on Sunset serving such celebrities like Mick Jagger, Denzel Washington and Luis Miguel. Then, Kaz shifted to San Francisco to serve at Ozumo Contemporary Japanese and Greens Restaurant.
Kaz’ diverse culinary experience ranges from Japanese Zen style Shojin cooking, high-end catering, private chef and producing four-day culinary workshop in Japan. Since he started teaching cooking eight years ago, Kaz has led over 300 classes in Japan, US, Thailand and Indonesia to 3,000 participants.
