the worst club ever. they were so biased by two girls wearing jeans trying to support a friend who was an employee there. even had the audacity to tell the next door bar to not let us in. that security guard knew i wasn’t drunk and that i was willing to buy a drink jus t to use the bathroom and let us in. do not come to this club. they are so biased and ride and only let people they want in or dressed appropriately i will never come again and was the worst club i ever walked by!!! do not come at all not worth it. i wish i could give them negative stars, such assholes

Went to the Pre-BAGG munch over a Wicked Grounds were I got to sit down and have coffee with others and get to know them before BAGG. The host was very nice and spent most of the time going over some basic rules and how best to approach people. Afterwards he walked us over to the club and got the door lady to wave the $ 10 cover charge. We spent most the time in a group chatting to each others and a few regulars. Their was a rope show in the center of the dungeon with a area in the back were they had a Saint Andrews cross on the right and someone on the left using electro toys. I would like to emphasize that I spent most the time in the pre BAGG group cause it seemed people were less inclined to talk me the few times I broke away. I brought this up a one point and was told that there have been problems in the past with predators, I suspect that it’s a on going issue. If people don’t already know you, having someone with you is like them vouching for you. I guess if your with someone that some how proves your not going to drag them into a dark ally and take advantage of them without their consent. Over all a good experience worth coming back for.

Cool and fun place. Good music. Good place to get a drink and watch the show or be a part of the show :) Great to have it in the neighborhood.

I have been going to Bondage a go go regularly for over 7 years. I have watched it change and evolve as crowds shift. It has always been a place where you get out what you put in, but there is a strong commitment to be a space for the sex positive explorer. It is a first step into the greater kink community.

The best and longest running fetish and BDSM club ever. It’s a wonderful place to socialize, drink, dance and get your kink on. They offer BGG membership for perks, free to get in, and discounts on local leather shops and more. It’s a fun club and a safe gateway to the lifestyle.

The crowd is very mixed, many different fetishes. Which is great, except each of the genres tend to stick together and not co-mingle. You really need to go as a couple or a group of people. Cross group is not very social and it’s very cliquey. If you go alone, chances are you might get bored. The bar tenders are very friendly and on the ball. They serve you efficiently and quickly. I do appreciate that they charge less for anyone in a costume. Why don’t all clubs do this? :D The music is all over the place. if you are going here to dance, you will only be able to dance every few songs. I don’t think the DJ knows what they are doing. They jump between major variations of music style and speed in ways I can’t begin to fathom. An important task for any DJ is to pay attention to the crowd. Something is wrong when you got from a poppy song that everyone is dancing crazy to something borderline goth metal and the dance floor immediately clears out. Then it goes to something very obscure and boring. Back to something people want to dance to. So they head to the dance floor only to retreat at the end of the song. The back area with the bondage is fun, but don’t get there too early. The back room is boring unless you have people getting tied up. The action seems to start around 10:30.

This club was fun when I first started going but after a while, the quality of the experience went down hill. It used to be a safe place to dance and play but the music became redundant and songs were often played that weren’t very good for dancing. At times, it seemed more like a petting zoo than an actual party. Meh… probably never going back.

I went here for my 21st birthday so excuse me if I seem to forget some important details… This place is definitely unique and I’m glad I went… but I don’t think I would go back. It’s great to go once just to say you went but it’s not somewhere I’d recommend going every week. There’s not a whole lot of dancing… or socializing in general actually. It felt like a dinner party(except for everyone being half naked & draped in leather of course). Everyone was engrossed in conversations with friends… there didn’t seem much mingling between groups. I would have liked more dancing. There are some really cool perks to this place though! The normally have rope experts who will hang you from the ceiling(don’t bother taking Instagram photos though! Pictures aren’t allowed). The play area is pretty awesome as well. There isn’t any actual«playing» per se but when I went there were some pretty kickass electric toys that I got to experiment with. It was definitely an experience. At $ 15 the cover charge is steeper than most(most places my friends and I frequent have a $ 10 charge at most). As it was my 21st birthday I can’t really tell you how much drinks cost(If you tell any bartender«It’s my 21st birthday» all your drinks are extra strong and very free). Overall it’s an awesome experience but one that doesn’t need to be repeated.

Can you think of a more interesting way to spend a Wednesday night? I couldn’t either. — Drinks $ 10+ PROS — Burlesque show in the beginning, topless yet classy — Lack of judgement; an open space — No sexual acts actually happen, just suggestive visuals and a spanking station some people could partake in — A novel experience or one for regulars — Dresscode was like halloween– can be creative, fun and a little naughty CONS — The crowd that night wasn’t my style(surprise!) — Not all songs were danceable — $ 15 cover for ladies/$ 20 men

Since I posted my review, a disturbing trend has emerged at BaGG: people getting things stolen. Everything I said still stands, but do not take your eyes off your stuff! A couple of people have had personal items, such as toys, go missing. but last week, a purse was stolen from where it was placed just behind someone, under a couple of jackets. Not cool. Keep an eye on your belongings at BaGG, y’all.

Oh, how sad. Bondage A GoGo used to be fabulous – great mix of people in a great space: roomy demo area upstairs, big dance floor downstairs. It was so good that my friends from out of town would plan their vacations around an evening here. And then, sometime in the months since my last visit, they moved to their current small, dingy space on Folsom. Only two rooms on one floor: the demo area is crammed into the back barroom, like an afterthought; as the crowds grew, it became evident the folks doing the flogging were worried about accidentally whipping the audience. The dance floor is up front where people enter the club, which throws off the dancers’ rhythm as they squeeze past to get to the bar. Not that the music was danceable to being with – actually, the good dance music was back in the demo room, where there’s no dancing; the disco DJ seemed to have no idea of what dance music is – no sense of ebb and flow, and really bad segues, eg. an electronic dance number followed by Johnny Cash – don’t get me wrong, I adore JC, but seriously folks, it’s not sexy dance music! So the night was terribly disappointing. We left feeling… awkward. Sadly, we won’t be returning unless we hear the venue’s changed, or otherwise revamped. Crossing our fingers we’ll hear good news some day.

Bondage A Go Go is my all time favorite club. I love the atmosphere. You can dance and have a good time without worrying about getting groped by dudes on the dance floor, or douchey guys causing bar fights. They have great events and shows throughout the year, like the Annual Betty Page Look-a-like contest, a Pirate night, burlesque, blood wrestling and more. Its unique, you’ll never find a club like this anywhere else. The staff is also amazing. They really care about everyone at the club and go the extra mile to make sure everyone is safe, as well as having a great time. Info if you’ve never attended– Everyone is welcome at bagg! However, the crowd is usually more of an alternative/goth/fetish type crowd, and there is a play space for bdsm type activities, so if that isn’t something you’d be comfortable with then its best you find a club more your speed.
