I had a massage with Michael during a visit to Burke Williams, and I’m so impressed. He is an incredibly intuitive massage therapist and is the best bodywork practitioner I’ve ever seen. Amazing! I’m happy to see he also does home visits and has reasonable rates. I look forward to booking him again and again.

Due to disc damage, I have a lot of neck and back pain that requires a lot of extra attention just to get through daily life. Over the years, I have auditioned many therapists to see who can figure out what my body needs. Sometimes they work out for a few months, and sometimes they do not work out at all. I am happy to say that my long search may be over. In my opinion, what separates Michael is his precision — there are no wasted movements. Even when we carry friendly conversations during the sessions, he never loses focus and puts his all into each touch. I would highly recommend his services.

Michael is such a wonderful bodyworker. I love that he does home visits which is what I booked him for. I felt 100% comfortable with him in my home. He has a gift for understanding the human body and knowing exactly what you need. I felt amazing and so relaxed after the massage. I am a Pilates instructor and I feel really comfortable sending my clients to him.

Michael is fantastic at what he does! Being a Chiropractor, I am very particular in who I choose to do soft tissue work on me. I was blown away with how specific and accurate Michael’s work was. He targeted the areas of concern right away and knew exactly what techniques were best for each issue. He is very knowledgable in the anatomy and physiology of muscles and knows exactly how to get you out of pain. I would refer all my patients to Michael for the best results!

As a Personal Trainer (BSQUARED Fitness), I recommend all my clients to Michael. Most of my clients have desk jobs. Sitting for hours and being in front of the computer can lead to bad posture. Bad posture can alter your movement. You will compensate while performing an exercise/​movement, and compensating can often lead to an injury. If my clients are hurt, they can’t achieve their fitness goals!
I work out 5−6/week, and I put my body through a lot of stress. I’ve had bicep tendonitis, tennis elbow, tight hip flexors, sciatica, runners knee (just to name a few). I always leave our sessions refreshed, and feeling like I have my old body back.
I highly recommend Michael. I’m going to go on a record here — Michael is the best massage therapist I’ve ever worked with.

Michael is super intuitive! I gave him a quick rundown of some past injuries and let him know I’m on my feet all day for my job. I love to exercise and push the limits and I’m often sore. He focused on the dense muscles that we’re giving me trouble and gave me more flow and relaxing on spaces that didn’t need a ton of attention.
I love how he massaged my elbows — which I didn’t even realize needed any love. I ended up feeling so relaxed and taken care of that I fell asleep!
He was so great helping me breathe through the sore muscles until they didn’t have as high a pain threshold.
I ended up booking with him at the end of the month when I know I’ll need another rub down! Highly recommended! 5 stars!

Michael is genius. He is an extremely gifted and intuitive massage therapist. I’ve been getting consistent massages from many therapists for several years. To say I’m picky is an understatement. I enjoy the perfect balance of fluidity and intensity. I had my first massage from Michael about 4 months ago after a friend referred me. I’m hooked!
Michael’s talents are incredible. He listens to his clients. More importantly, his knowledge extends beyond what a client tells him. His hands have a incredibly way of locating tight areas needing work. Even when one doesn’t realize it! He knows all the perfect spots requiring attention.
I recently rode a 7 day biking event. Michael was instrumental in the preparation for the endurance event as well as soothing my muscles after completing the event. He is absolutely amazing. After my first massage, I was as good as new. In the past, I’ve had therapists that were good for the first few massages. Michael’s massages are consistently phenomenal. Be warned! Once you have a massage from Michael — you’ll be hooked for life!

OMG, when I left after the massage I felt like butter, every muscle was so relaxed. He’s very good at communicating and encourages you to give him feedback, which was new to me and very nice because I don’t normally talk much. If you’re looking for a masseuse I highly recommend you give Michael a try.

Michael is a phenomenal massage therapist! As a massage therapist myself, I am very picky when it comes to getting massage. Recommending Michael is a no brainier. Every time I travel to San Francisco (I live in Las Vegas) I ask for him to work on me. The Highlights: Michael is a gifted massage therapist… It’s like he has these tiny microscopes in his fingers that help him find the EXACT spot that needs attention.
The Details: I’ve got a really funky back and have had scoliosis and a kyphosis for years. As a result, I have a lot of neck pain. I also had a car accident and sports injuries that left me with low back pain and an almost constant charlie horse in my thigh. So, working on me is no picnic. Michael was able to loosen up my neck and shoulders by working on my chest in a way that no one else has ever done. And, it was amazing!
I met Michael at the Burke Williams spa, which was very posh. Sauna, whirlpool and steam room were included. I know he does in home massage too, and I’ll try that next time.

I am a big fan of Michael’s massage skills. I have been getting massages from Michael for several years now. He has a true gift for strong, intuitive, relaxing, and healing touch. For the last 4 years I have been managing cronic back pain, and Michael’s massage is one of the best and only ways for me to experience full body relaxation and pain reduction without medication.

I have been getting massages from Michael for almost 3 years on a very regular schedule, every 2 weeks. His massages always give me relief from a multitude of body aches and pains. He is always on time in arriving at my home and professional in his demeanor. He checks in on my areas of need for that session and invariably relieves the stress. I can’t recommend him highly enough. In addition to his massage skills, he is pleasant to be around and chat with, should you be in the mood to talk, but is just as adept at sensing the sessions when quiet is preferred.

I had the pleasure of a massage by Michael Fink in August and it was the best deep tissue massage ever. I was having severe neck and back discomfort before the massage. Thanks to Michael the pain is gone. He even showed me some exercises to do at home. Michael is knowledgeable, kind and caring. Great masseur!

I have been training for various endurance sports for a while. Last year, I did the SF marathon. This year, I am training for a 100-​mile bike ride in Moab. I routinely need deep tissue massage to untangle my tense muscles. Michael is definitely the best. He’s super strong and thorough. He is very attentive to details and works on every sore spot carefully. After a massage, my legs will feel so light that I can ride my bike for an entire day without feeling any pain or experiencing any cramp.
Michael also provides good advice on nutrition, stretching techniques and steps to ease pain/​soreness after exercises.

I am a super busy business professional that has recently been experiencing a tightness in my lower back, a still neck and overall tension. I was referred to Michael by a friend that advised me that I will get a better massage than any spa can offer. He was right! Michael is courteous, professional, friendly and that does not even cover his abilities to relieve tightness and discomfort.
