With over a decade of experience I bring a combination of traditional psychotherapy with movement, body awareness, mindfulness and good old-fashioned belly laughs.
I help clients unlock issues which are literally held inside the body; like fear, anger, depression and creative blocks. We unlock these issues through my proprietary work merging talk therapy with expressive arts. This is where therapy actually gets to be interesting and life-changing.
I believe that counseling is about helping clients reach their goals while creating a life that is meaningful. My clients develop an awareness of their needs and a new found ability to experience greater aliveness, creativity and fulfillment in their lives.
If I am not the right fit for you, I will certainly find you someone excellent who is. That is my commitment to you. Call me, I can help.
History
Established in 1999.
I am incredibly passionate about helping individuals live the lives of their dreams. My clients are extremely important to me. We are not here to be in therapy forever, but being in therapy can — and will — change our lives dramatically.

Joseph Campbell said: «Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there where only walls.» I agree.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and was deeply troubled by the poverty that was pervasive in my hometown. I spent my early professional life deeply engaged in working with frontline community-based organizations primarily serving under-priveleged individuals, and homeless families.
Movement, dance, & creative expression are incredibly important in my life. Every client of mine knows this, and receives a tailor-made plan of action in our work. Ask me, and I will tell you more.
As Core Faculty at the Omega Institute of Holistic Studies, I believe that movement, creativity, and self-expression are key to a life of joy and bliss.
In addition to being a licensed psychotherapist, I am a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist and bring creative expression into the therapy hour. I believe that we are all creative geniuses.
