Blackhawk Limos

We had several fine experiences with this firm, until the time when the driver arrived to pick up our family and the alcohol smell on his breath was overwhelming. It was not clear how impaired he was, but he was somewhat impaired, and it was a very scary ride.

The owner (Clarindo Gomez?) is super nice and professional. He saved us from the nightmare of public transport on a twisted ankle after Outside Lands. Totally reasonable cost, and comfortable car.
I kept his card, and remembered it when trying to get to the airport when a «something-​force» convention was in town. I’d waited 45 minutes for a cab to arrive and was getting desperate. Somehow, Clarindo knew someone who was free, and they got me to the airport on time! Without breaking any traffic laws, I might add.
They’re $ 10 more than a cab for me, but the peace of mind is worth it. They arrive EARLY. This morning, for a friend’s 7:30 ride, the car service was waiting outside at 7AM! Amazing.
Please note, though, that their rate on their website is wrong. It’s $ 54 and not $ 45. They’re working on fixing this, and are up front when you call to book a ride as well as reminding you before the ride, so there’s no «hidden» surprise.

The cars are always on time and immaculate. Drivers are professional and extremely courteous. Clarindo and staff are great — you just tell them what you want/​need and they take care of it.

They really deserve 3.5 stars, but I guess I’ll round up. I really used to love this car service, but then the service completely dwindled.
I was on my way out one night with my friend and we were waiting for a taxi on Geary. Up came this town car, we asked how much and he said whatever, so we got in. Clarindo Gomes was the driver’s name and he was nice, efficient and a great driver. We even asked him to pick us up after the club, and he showed up on time as requested. Of course we fell in love.
So the next weekend, we call for his services and he’s nice and professional as can be. I’m thinking I’ve hit the jackpot with my every weekend car service.
Then one weekend we call and Clarindo is not available so he sends someone else to pick us up. Eudes. Not so great. He has an attitude, but I figure maybe Clarindo really spoiled us. He dropped us off in the Mission and that was that.
Then comes the following weekend, the weekend of our BFF’s birthday party. He drops us off and then later we call him. He doesn’t answer his phone or call us back. He arrives an hour and half later, drives us literally only 10 blocks. We give him over $ 20 and he has the nerve to tell us that we didn’t pay him. On top of that, we had asked to be dropped off on Pacific and Powell, but he stopped at Broadway and Powell and asked us to walk.
I have to say that Clarindo was really amazing… always picking me up on time and always very considerate. I actually still owe for one ride home. So next time boo, I got you!

Excellent car service. We used Blackhawk Car Service to get home from Outside Lands 2009. We got home quick and safe. My friend lost her wallet that night. Before noon the next day, Blackhawk rang our doorbell to return her wallet that was left in the limo. THAT WAS AWESOME!!! We will definitely use this service again. Thanks!

I have used Black Hawk Car Services a total of 6 times now; 4 times to and from the Airport and twice I have used their limos for outings with friends and will never use anyone else.
The Drivers are always on time and extremely professional. The price is reasonable and worth every penny, The cars are always clean, stocked and ready to go!!!
I would encourage anyone that needs a taxi to the Airport or a Stretch Limo for an evening out to call Black Hawk!!!

I used Blackhawk last week for a trip to the airport. They were recommended to me from a friend. As a business owner myself, I know and appreciate when a business takes pride in their work and does everything they can to earn your business.
They picked me up at the arranged time, was very courteous, and had a clean/​new car. The trip was smooth with complimentary drinks and that day’s paper. They got me to the terminal with plenty of time to spare. All for a price that was very competitive.
Blackhawk runs a very clean and efficient operation at a very good value. That’s enough for me to not choose anyone else. Highly recommended.
