Short review: #FAIL
Long review: True to it’s namesake: Benedict Arnold; original American Traitor, these «egg benedicts» betray any real semblance of a real eggs benedict, so it’s very aptly named. But the joke is on anyone dumb enough to try this truck.
I was unlucky enough to stumble upon this rip-​off truck several months ago. Honestly, I’m surprised to see they have a Unilocal page and figured they’d be long out of business. Prices are more expensive than eating in a quality sit down brunch spot yet you get to eat this out of a tiny cardboard box and try to slice through your benedict with a dull plastic knife, a truly depressing experience.
Benedict’s and hash served room temperature, eggs nearly hard boiled, with hollandaise sauce that taste like it was out of a can. WTF was I thinking? Yah, my bad on this one, but shame on them too! I also found the service, surly and rude. It’s as if the owner said, hmm I wanna start a food truck but what should I do, then he gathered the food types of every food truck in the city and said, ‘I got it: Benedicts! And we can name the truck after the original American traitor! I’m so brilliant!’ The lack of love in this food is all too apparent.
Bad idea.

Tip to owner: blow up this f-​ing truck and start over! On second thought, just blow up the truck, because businesses like yours don’t deserve a second chance.

Waited over an hour for our food today, and when we finally got it, the eggs were totally overcooked (like a hard-​boiled egg instead of a runny poached egg) and the bacon and hashbrowns were cold and soggy. My friend’s was the same.
We went back to try to get properly cooked eggs, and the rude guy (only male in the truck) said they are backed up and don’t have time to fix it. Offered money back, which was not a great choice after waiting for this poorly prepared food for over an hour.
If you can’t get eggs right, and you are a eggs benedict truck, think you might be in trouble. To add insult to injury, your team is rude and unwilling to cook eggs properly even when made aware that they were improperly cooked. Never again.

Definitely a fan and happy they play heavily in the rotation at Mission Bay campus of UCSF. Breakfast sandwich was especially good.
