I’ve been coming here for over 30 years and the pizza has always been great… except for the last 2 pizzas. Both had thin soggy crust. I think there has been an ownership change because the woman who always took our order and the guy who always delivered are no longer there and the new people don’t seem to have the baking technique down — though the ingredients seem to be the same. I’m hoping they can improve.

Quick and friendly service. Food came out in a very timely manner. I had the meatball and cheese submarine. The bread had a perfect crisp to the outside. A nice balance of sauce to meat to cheese. I had a side order of curly fries. Pretty standard for fries. After reading other reviews, I will be back for pizza next time.

Excellent Pizza without the crazy escalating San Francisco cost of living. No gimmicks, blinding menu choices, just good food at reasonable prices. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years because the food and service brings me back. Great for families or groups of friends.

Always came here for great pizza. My family has been coming here for as long as I can remember and it has always been consistently good pizza. Have never been disappointed in the quality here and now I take my friends here and they have not been disappointed either.

We love Bella’s Pizza! The owners are super friendly and the food is great! We have a large family and even though we live in the East Bay, we go there for birthdays, anniversaries and other family gatherings. It’s always a fun experience. It’s very homey with that old Italian charm. In my opinion, the crust is what makes the pizza. Bella’s is just right. Add the toppings and sauce and you’re in heaven. We always order whole cheese, whole pepperoni and love their SF and West Coast Specialty pies. As mentioned, Bella’s is a family tradition. If you haven’t tried it, you should. We wish them continued success!

Bella Pizza doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they certainly make a wonderful pie! It wasn’t crowded on an early Sunday afternoon, so my hon of hons could watch the Seahawks get their asses beat, which made for a very upbeat experience! The restaurant is small and kind of funky, with very sweet and professional service. Since we each wanted something different, the three of us opted to get slices rather than a whole pie. We went with a cheese slice with sausage, a cheese slice with garlic and pepperoni, and a cheese slice with mushrooms, roasted red peppers and meatballs, all with the traditional pizza sauce. What was delivered was two large slices apiece, fully loaded with the toppings we chose. I was only planning to eat one slice, but couldn’t resist eating both. The cheese was delicious, and the crust was kind of light, but not too crunchy. We all really enjoyed our meals! A great find, and we will be back again. One note to the owner: your bathroom could use an upgrade!

I ordered a small San Francisco Pizza They where friendly owners. Nice place to eat. The pizza was quite big. Wasn’t even able to finish it completely. It tasted ok i guess, but it wasn’t one of the better pizza’s i’ve eaten. There is a bit too much topping on it, and quite grease, making the crust quite soggy. The cheese could be a bit more crispy. Al and all a fair pizza for the price if your really hungry.

More than fair. Defined: Devoured: Outstanding broiled chicken sandwich with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese plus an excellent made to order slice of BBQ chicken pizza. Former usually comes with mozzarella but they swapped no problem. Latter was doused with tomato sauce as requested and big enough to be two slices. Meal earns them four stars. Friendly and attentive staff, 15+ year history and Buddha shrine earn them another. Plus you can’t go wrong with a $ 10 plus tip price tag. Five stars is only fair.

A inexpensive spot for pizza and Italian food, but the quality just isn’t there(from my experience). The sandwich I had(chicken) was very dry, seemed freezer burned and just didn’t have flavor. My pizza slice was ok(Hawaiian), but seemed rushed and not cooked enough. The staff was friendly, but the product is lacking!

Bella Pizza has great food and a quiet but relaxed atmosphere. There’s more served here than just pizza – although this comes in a wide variety of flavors. My own favorite: The California Special, which has even more toppings than the Bella Special. You can also get submarine sandwiches, half chicken, veal parmesan, New York steak, spaghetti, ravioli, fettecini, tortellini, lasagna. The prices are what you would expect for a pizza parlor – somewhere between $ 25 and $ 45 for two people. It’s a family-owned business with an intimate, friendly atmosphere. And not only can you get a great meal there, you can order take-out as well.

I’ve been coming here for years. This place is really a hidden treasure. Looks like a dive place from the outside, but the surprise is awaits inside. The food is really good. Great service and good food, whats more to ask!

I was hungry and had no idea where to go, fortunately for me my friend was with me and recommended this place. I remember him always saying how good the pizza are so off we went. Parking can be a drag so the space I found on clement st was a small victory. I ordered the Hawaiian and we shared fries. The pizza didn’t fall short of expectations, gooey cheese, good sauce, the toppings were awesome. The fries were very good as well, they were just how I like them, crispy exterior with a nice crunch on the ends but a soft starchy mash inside. The waitress, who is also the owner was so nice and sweet. I would definitely come back.

This restaurant is a stain on the neighborhood. My large combo averaged out to $ 3.20 per/slice. The ingredients are fresh and abundant but the crust was not good and there was hardly any sauce. Anybody can buy fresh veggies for a combo and stack it on but not many can make quality pizza sauce and good crust. It was not greasy though. Not only was the pizza as exciting as eat as a cardboard box the employees YELLING at each other was completely unacceptable. I might have given it another chance but since the management clearly doesn’t care for the comfort of their paying customers I clearly don’t care to ever come back.

Okay, I admit that I took just about forever to decide on what I want and they were very patient, which is awesome. I finally ended up getting sausage, jalapenos, mushrooms, and green peppers(and I was very relieved they didn’t charge per topping [at least I think, I mean my one slice came out pretty cheap]). I was ridiculously surprised at how much of the toppings they heaped on and how big the single slice was. Oh did I mention you can get a single slice here? Which is awesome. The other thing that surprised me was that my pizza wasn’t that greasy. Yes, I know, pizza by nature tends to be greasy but I was actually surprised that with all my toppings, they eased up on the cheese(which I appreciated) and kept it pretty light.

Since Bella Pizza is around the corner from work, and when my boss is feeling friendly and treating a couple slices every now and then, it has become my Friday afternoon fantasy, and is one of the best lunch options on the block! I am quite appreciative at how large the slices are, and they are quite generous with toppings, although slices can be a bit pricey. The only other thing I wish they didn’t do would be to add mozzarella cheese to an already half baked crust with sauce when ordered. I guess it makes it taste fresher than just reheating an already dressed slice but I always miss the sauce since there seems to be so little!

Guess what, people? Pizza. Is. Greasy. I absolutely HATE it when people complain about«greasy» pizza. Has anybody ever come across a REAL pizza that wasn’t greasy? We’re not talking about the vegan cheese on cardboard crap some of you are used to. I must admit, Bella doesn’t have the BEST pizza, but it’s good pizza. It’s good pizza for a decent price. Owned by a nice family. Service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a medium San Francisco pizza and Linguine with clams. I didn’t expect much from the linguine, but I had a small craving for linguine and clams, but it was actually decent. The sauce was a little heavy, but other than that, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. The pizza was, yes, greasy. There was cheese. There was meat. Of course it was greasy! It was greasy deliciousness as most pizzas should be. I’ll be more than happy to go back to Bella’s, and they even deliver(in the neighborhood).
