Wasn’t very impressed with my experience here, especially compared to Dr. Tandrow. The space was outdated. The optometrist seemed distracted. And the front desk people were clueless.

Sorry you had a bad experience Jim. My husband had some serious eye conditions that could have left him blind. We saw Dr Jeng and some of his fellows. We never felt rushed and they spent a lot of time with us explaining what was going on and our options. They made sure any questions were fully answered and that we understood our options, the procedure and the fact that this is a hereditary condition. The surgeries were done, followup by Dr Jeng and his team was outstanding to the point of two emergency office visits, one on a holiday. My husband will need additional surgeries in several years and I would not hesitate to go to this team again. My husband still sees them a couple of tines a year for followup. Every one at the office from the receptionist to the techs who performed measurements and other Tests were very professional and kind. They never made us feel rushed or like we were a number. We see a lot of doctors and this group were definitely some of the finest. As for the wait, we have some short waits and some as you describe that were about an hour long. The wait was worth it. They were spending time with people who apparently needed it. We were those people who needed extra time because of the condition and complexity a few times. I am sorry if your wait was long because of someone else running over. I know what this time does and how good they are. We were blessed to have been referred to Dr Jeng. When we go in and have a long wait for our appointment, and we have been on both sides of this situation, I have learned to be thankful because someone else needs them at that time and I know what they can and have done for my husband and that they may be saving someone else’s eyesight. Truly this is my husbands eyesight. I would wait as long as I need to. Good luck to you. And God bless. Cyndy W.

Unless you like Kaiser, you won’t be happy with this medical office. Expect to spend one hour for your appointment, but you’ll only see the doctor for a maximum of 10 mins. these people see 1000’s of patients and you will not receive any personal one on one care. the doctor will not know you as a patient and you’ll just be treated along with the masses of other patients. I got no help and no solution to my vision issue. In particular, avoid seeing Dr. Bennie Jeng. Maybe one of the other doctors would be a better choice, I don’t know.
