Bear Flag Process Services

Bear Flag is awesome! We needed a subpoena served to a very elusive individual who represents a very, very, very elusive company. Bear Flag has several «tricks up their sleeve» to find people who don’t want to be found!!! They really went above and beyond to get this subpoena served. And, they served it the same day I sent it to them!
Sam is very knowledgeable and even called me when he received the subpoena to let me know it had some missing information. This enabled me to correct it before service. They are very professional and call you back promptly if you leave them a message. Their prices are extremely reasonable. If I ever need a process server in the future, I will definitely hire Bear Flag again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Bear Flag is the BEST! They are competent, reliable, responsive, (and caring!) I’d never had to do this before, and the person I was serving papers to was dodging the sheriff’s department (who I’d given papers to serve.) I was in a pinch because I was running out of time to serve papers, and needed a service who worked evenings. I spoke with Sam who not only took the time to listen to my situation, but he explained to me the whole process and the number of tries that they could attempt. He suggested the lower priced option. I was so stressed about it I was going to pay for the higher priced (three attempt) option, so clearly he wasn’t trying to get me to pay more money than necessary. In fact, they accidentally overcharged me by $ 10 and then promptly refunded me (I didn’t even realize that I was overcharged!) And they kept in amazing communication with me. They let me know when the papers were served, what happened, and they also let me know when the proof of service was filed with the courthouse and emailed me a copy of the paperwork. Hopefully I never have to do this again, but I do want others to know how GREAT Bear Flag is. I wouldn’t try anywhere else, I would definitely go with Bear Flag if you want to make sure the job will get done and they will communicate with you along the way. Great experience with Bear Flag. I called up a bunch of process servers to get a quote and better understand the process for how to serve papers for my specific scenario. I’ve never been involved in a legal dispute, so I wasn’t quite sure how everything would play out with the unresponsive person I was serving.
After speaking to Sam, the owner, I felt that he was by far the most professional and competent. He asked me questions and understood my scenario, while other servers didn’t seem to be as patient or helpful. It seemed like others wouldn’t try that hard and would hit the max number of tries, coming back to ask for more money. I felt like Bear Flag would really try to get the job done within the max of 3 times.
Sure enough, they did. After they received my papers, they finished the job within 48 hours. Getting the job done, and done so quickly, was a huge relief to me after months of anguish. They followed up with an email and processed the appropriate paperwork with the court within the week.
Bear Flag was the most expensive option of all the process servers I talked to, but at the end of the day, they were extremely professional and responsive. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy service to get the job done.

Great service, nice people. They delivered my divorce papers quickly and notified me right away. When I had a second batch of documents to be served, though not filed with the court, Sam called me to make sure that I couldn’t save some money by using their mail service for about $ 75 less. The whole thing reeks of integrity.

Eleanor and Sam at Bear Flag were fantastic to work with. I had a small claims court order that needed to be served and they were available to do this small job within 48 hours. It only took 1 attempt even though this was a tricky situation with an evasive recipient. I would definitely recommend Bear Flag for any individual or firm that is looking for quick, organized and ready process serving. Hopefully I won’t have to need their services again but if I do– I know who to turn to!

Serving people and companies with legal process is not an easy job. In addition to the often surly reaction a server will often be subjected to, you have to be creative with people who are trying to avoid process and your lawyer clients are often on deadlines. And, there are significant legal rules that must be followed. Bear Flag does not need my additional 5 star rating but they are great and we will continue to use them.

Excellent service and reasonable price. I email my court documents sometimes the same day, and it gets filed, delivered within couple hours. I can always reach someone on the phone as well. I am pleased with the type of service I get.

Calm, cool collected and honest. Sam would not charge you a dime over the actual hours he spent trying to serve papers even if it calls for a stakeout (where I heard others pad their hours).
Process serving is not a job for the meek and can be dangerous at times for the server. I would trust Sam to serve your papers to anyone.
