BCOR – Bay Area Boot Camp

BCOR isa complete SCAM!!! who are these peolpe and why are they even in business. Could not get my tavelzoo purchase started because the trainer CANNOT get a hold of anyone with bcor to get paid… nor could I.
Thank god travelzoo gave me a refund and they said they’ll investigate them. May i add that the trainer had to discontine business with three others that purchased groupons for the same reason. AVOID this so called business. I agree with you Jeffrey W. they get ZERO stars from me but gotta put 1

False advertisement on Groupon for ‘6 weeks of unlimited classes’…
–Called to activate the certificate. You can only go to one location and that location only has certain days and times.
–Rep on the phone said that the deal was misleading
–Some locations have multiple locations bundled but have a 4 to 6 weeks waiting list to start because they oversold the offer.
–BCOR pays independent trainers so you can only go to that trainer and not multiple ones
So much for unlimited classes. Thankfully, Groupon is more than happy to issue you a refund, which is exactly what I did.

I bought a Groupon saying «unlimited access», but now I am being told that I can only do «unlimited AM» or «unlimited PM» classes.
What BS!
I signed up for this since my work travel schedule requires me to be flexible, and I was hoping to go in in the morning a couple of days and in the evening a couple of days. When I called BCOR, all they can say is «we apologize, but there are a lot of people signing up, so we cannot give that flexibility anymore». Were they idiots to not know that this will happen if they put out a groupon deal???
Its a bummer since I was really hoping to start ASAP, but now I have to wait till my work schedule stabilizes a bit. But I am really dissappointed that BCOR totally misled people in their Groupon.
And then to top if off, I get an email from the instructor at 4pm on Friday of the long weekend (4^th Jul wknd) saying there is an orientation on 2^nd July (that Sat) that you have to attend, with only 1 other alternate option in that week (that I cannot make).
Really? Did they really expect people to be home and read their emails on Friday afternoon and come to an orientation on Sat when most people are out camping, etc for the long weekend?
Plus another email saying «oh, I totally forgot — you also need to get dumbells». So now I have to go buy my own dumbells and carry a weight of about 40 lbs or so with me everytime I want to go to bootcamp? And here I was — planning to walk over…
Talk about bad management!

Wish there was one in Golden Gate Park, I would definitely try it out with the Groupon.

I’m so excited to start BCOR! I’ve been told the BCOR coaches are really encouraging and supportive. My cousin joined last year and he told me they motivated him to give it everything and he reached his goal of losing 10 pounds! Signing up was easy! The representatives are knowledgeable and got me scheduled quickly into a class! One week before class I was sent a confirmation email detailing items I need to bring to class, schedules, directions, and nutritional documents. Very professional and thorough! I can’t wait until class starts and excited to achieve my fitness goals! I’m telling all my friends and family!
