BBC Construction

BBC came highly recommended by friends who recently had their kitchen remodeled. I really liked how it turned out, and they suggested I contact Ricardo and his team. I could not be more thankful for this introduction. My project was completed way ahead of schedule, but more importantly, I love the end result.
Abdi, Jonathan, Ricardo and Tony all worked tirelessly on my small kitchen to make sure it’s done on time. Abdi was the main guy on my project, and he knows the SF code like the back of his hand. They pretty much designed my kitchen, I gave some ideas on what I wanted to do, and they took care of the rest.
My old kitchen was very dated and small, and BBC had to work to open it up and give it a more modern look, as well as make it more functional. The entire kitchen was gutted, some walls came down, and appliances were moved.
The guys were professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. I was impressed with the attention to detail. My boyfriend had several suggestions as the project progressed, only to find out that this was already thought of and worked on.
BBC recommended a couple of wholesale suppliers on the outskirts of SF where I could buy cabinets, countertops, etc. to keep my costs down. They were more affordable than custom cabinets or home depot — you might want to ask them about that if you are working on a budget. They even arranged to exchange a cabinet door that had a scratch on it before I had the chance to notice it.
Any kind of renovation is a big project, especially the kitchen. The most important part of this whole experience is that I trusted them and did not feel like I had to worry at any stage. They are really hard workers with an amazing work ethic and you can tell that they care and take a lot of pride in their work. My new kitchen turned out even better than I imagined.

Saw BBC Construction across the street from my home and I decided to ask Ricardo to look at my bathroom which was from the 50’s. Tony and Ricardo gave me a quote and I also told them what I wanted. Both brothers are extremely experienced, prompt, punctual and gave me solid estimates. My bathroom was done on time and is all that I wanted and more. Austine, the tile man did an outstanding job and I could not have asked for a neater person. He was so very clean and tidy even when he was working. Ricardo, Tony and their crew were so respectful of my property, they treated my home as if it was their own. They are very professional and truly trustworthy and I would use them in the future. I highly recommend them. Their prices are average compared to other contractors that I have used especially in the San Francisco area. You pay for what you get. Do the job right the first time and you won’t have to redo what you paid for the first time. I love my new bathroom and so does everyone else that sees it. I should have done it sooner. Thank you Ricardo and Tony for making an older lady happy.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My mother had $ 57,600 worth of work done to our house that needed to be brought to code.
Here’s the breakdown:
Plumbing, electrical permits & demolition — $ 8,000
Basement plumbing and gas (old lines demo) — $ 9,900
Basement Electrical rehab wiring & 7 circuits — $ 10,900
Basement insulation& new Drywall 1 hr fire R — $ 6,900
«New» Tank less unit — $ 700
New water pump & dedicated electrical circuit — $ 1,600
Provide gas line & dedicated electrical circuit — $ 1,100
Central heating unit — $ 11,500 Note: A month after the work was done the central unit heating unit was leaking water in the attic and they don’t want to fix this.
Cottage requirements corrections by the city — $ 7,000
Also, they removed our mailbox and did not put it back how it was before. Our mail is not getting wet with all the rain we have been getting.

A lot of the work they did could have been rebated with PG&E but they never brought this up to her attention. They took advantage of my poor mother who doesn’t speak English very well and doesn’t know much about how this kind of stuff works. This company is heartless and just wants to take your money. Even the city inspector commented on over paying for this work. They don’t even want to provide a receipt for the «new» tank less unit.
And make sure to take a advantage of PG&E’s programs before contracting with someone. I would recommend contracting that is backed up by PG&E.

I happened to see a BBC Construction car outside my workplace and saw that they did kitchen remodeling. I took a photo and called them up for a bid. I had purchased new kitchen cabinets and a quartz counter top and needed them installed. They bid a little higher than my first quote because they noticed that extra work needed to be done that the other bidder didn’t notice. I liked their thoroughness and decided to give them a try. I also had a short deadline coming up and they said they could have the job complete in one day.
Needless to say I was very happy I went with Ricardo and Tony! They did a great job, careful with details and great guys to work with. Their work was flawless and fast!
I would highly recommend them for any work and hope to be working with them again. Great job guys!

I must have had a dozen contractors look at the water damage on the back porch of our two-​unit condo. Many didn’t seem to know what they were doing, or never called back (one of those can-​of-​worms jobs…). Everyone told me contractors take twice as long as promised and cost twice what they quote… but that’s because they didn’t work with BBC!
Tony and Ricardo were on the higher end of the bids, but they were prompt, professional, and thorough. They finished ahead of schedule, and entirely within budget. Not to mention they really went the extra mile, time and time again! The whole team was super polite, helpful, trustworthy, and easy to work with.
I would highly recommend them (already have, actually) and would not hesitate to use them in the future. They really go above and beyond!

Tony and Ricardo came highly recommended through a good friend. I needed a new kitchen installed and they exceeded my expectations. They flawlessly installed the cabinetry and also did some electrical work as well. I would hire them again in a heart beat and will use them for all future work. Thanks guys!

Tony and Ricardo are the Trifecta: extremely knowledgeable and experienced, prompt/​punctual/​responsive (they know how to communicate), and they give solid estimates.
BBC has done two jobs for me so far:
1. They helped remodel/​install a new kitchen — it came out beautifully and they were extremely professional and trustworthy.
2. A new brick staircase — built to last and air-​tight. There were some unique situations with this construction but they were willing to work with me to meet my goals.
I am happy to strongly recommend BBC Construction for anyone reading this review. They are both nice and professional and have pride in their work (they won’t do a half-​assed job).
I know this email is a little too positive, but I have nothing negative to say about them. Of course, always do your due diligence and get other estimates/​meet with others before any job, but I think you’ll find that these brothers are the way to go 9.9 times out of 10!

The guys came and installed my closet doors that another contractor completely flaked on. They were friendly, PUNCTUAL, and did a great job, even fabricating some custom floor tracks. I couldn’t be more satisfied!

I recently bought new cabinetry at Lowes that I needed installed and my friend recommended Tony and Ricardo of BBC Construction for the job. I am so glad that she did! These brothers will forever be our contractors for any job big or small. They have done an amazing job with our kitchen and treated us like family from day one. They are fair with their pricing and accommodating with timelines. We went on vacation for a week and came back to a brand new kitchen! What could be better than that?! They left our home even cleaner than when we left. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable contractor!

We just had our bathroom remodeled by BBC and we could not have asked for a more professional and friendly service. Everything was clearly scoped out before the job started and the professionalism and attention to detail continued throughout the project. The site was always kept spotless and any issues were immediately brought to our attention and so we could agree a path forward. I would certainly use them again and would happily recommend them! You won’t regret it!

If you need any repairs/​renovations done around the house, call Ricardo and Tony! They are professional, prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. They get the job done quickly and of the highest quality. I had them do a major renovation in the front of the house. I’m highly sensitive to dust and they they were real pros at keeping the dust down to a bare minimum! They deliver what they promise within the time parameters agreed upon and their rates are very fair. No need to call anyone else… from now on I’ll only use Ricardo and Tony!
