Azure Acuspa

$ 40 can buy you massages varying from lousy to great, and mine was… ok. Most disturbing was that the middle-​aged lady spent a disproportionate amount of time massaging the inside of my… back side. Yeah. I have had dozens of massages in my lifetime, and that line had never been crossed before. I felt surprisingly vulnerable and slightly humiliated and violated.

I’m going to start off by saying I have had a massage by a man before that was completely professional. I never felt uncomfortable, and the gender of the masseuse was entirely irrelevant in the sense that there was no sexual tension on his part whatsoever.
This was not my experience at Azure Acuspa.
Things started going badly immediately. To start, the staff looked frantic, unprepared and frankly surprised to have a customer walk in. I asked the male masseuse what articles of clothing I should take off, he gestured that everything should be removed. I obviously kept my panties on. He reentered the room, and proceeded to place a sheet over my whole body.
He then went straight for my ass. Really. He just put his hands all over it. It then got better for about 20 minutes. The sheet came off and I got a decent rubdown in my shoulders and back. However, I never stopped wondering whether he was looking at me, or taking it in a sexual way.
Then things got really disturbing. He started rubbing my thighs, and slowly made his way into my innermost thigh, making contact with my vagina. Repeatedly. He also rubbed his fingers all over my crack.
He then asked me to turn around, and I cringed. I covered my breasts as he held a sheet up, as if to suggest he wasn’t going to see anything. He gave me a face and arm massage. Yet he placed his forearms and even hands completely unnecessarily on my breasts.
After it was over he leaned down and put his arms around me and kissed either side of my face. «You are so beautiful» he said before he walked out, leaving me completely perplexed.
I can’t begin to tell you how violated I felt, and continue to feel. I can’t explain why I didn’t walk out. There is a strange dynamic that happens during a massage, where you in some way hand your body over to this person. The entire time, my mind was racing with thoughts of how wrong this was, and how much I wanted it to end. Yet my body felt dead in some way. Just unresponsive. This was not only a lousy service. This was completely inappropriate.
The amount of money you’ll need to process this through therapy far outweighs the $ 40 you save by going to a reputable establishment. Or anywhere, really, that isn’t this place.

I have been getting acupuncture for quite some time now for my back pains. I have visited many clinics and this place might be the winner. It’s clean and relaxing. The technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I even got a free back massage after the acupuncture. I left there feeling great and may even go back for some of their other services.

This place is amazing! I’ve been to many different places throughout the Bay Area and the service and treatment offered at Azure Acuspa is absolutely incomparable. The masseuses are very professional and have many years of experience prior to the grand opening of this medical spa.
If you are interested in receiving a full body massage I recommend you ask for Amy. She is very kind and knows exactly what she’s doing. I’ve had back and neck pain for the past three months now, but with Amy’s help I’ve felt so much more relaxed and energetic these past few days. They also offer massage packages where you can save money on future massages. IT’S DEFINITELY WORTH IT!
This place is totally accessible (right on Pine Street) and has a very welcoming atmosphere. They also offer facials, waxing, and acupuncture treatment. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed!!!
