Autumn Express has products from around the world, which are fair trade and green. We are offering our new printing products, business cards, stationery, postcards, notecards, envelopes, poster and fliers.

All these products are printed on recycled paper, but best of all — Same Day Printing. Eco-​friendly Political Campaign Printing from postcards to buttons.

History

Established in 2000.

Meet the Manager

Valerie A.

Manager

Valerie was born in France. Before joining Autumn Express on December 1st, 2005, she was in the printing business for about 4.5 years as a customer service rep. She came to San Francisco in 1997.

For the past 3 years, she’s been an avid runner and completed over 10 half marathons… too many to count. On August 3rd, 2008, she’ll be running her 3rd Full Marathon. Valerie says: «besides running, I enjoy working out, and do spinning, kick boxing, boot camp, yoga and weight lifting. My friends think I’m crazy but exercise is a great stress reliever and creates a great social network. My goal are to complete one day a triathlon, and run the Paris Marathon with my brother. Other than that, I love to cook, knit & read.

Valerie genuinely cares about the quality of her work and making sure that the customer is happy with the job.
I needed to print a portfolio for a last-​minute interview the next day. I came to Autumn Express after being turned away from at least 3 other print shops. Not only did Valerie take in my job, but she had it done within thirty minutes. She was happy to do test prints and make the adjustments necessary to getting it printed beautifully. The service at this shop was such a pleasant surprise — I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

I’m one of those teachers that tells their students to get their business cards done at the beginning of the semester, than puts off getting her own printed till 48 hours prior to a business trip. On top of that– doesn’t even have an appropriate program to create a design… Xander and Autumn Express saved the day! Xander took my ideas and created a beautiful, classic design, even tweeking it after I asked for a slightly smaller font (yah– I’m that person). Best thing– I picked them up the next afternoon. I’m so grateful to the team at Autumn Express. They saved the day in the most classically beautiful way possible!

I can’t speak highly enough of the customer service, quality, and efficiency of this print shop!
I called on a Monday morning around 10am to order business cards. After a quick phone call, Valerie was able to receive my email scan of a business card sample, and send me a proof. I called her and gave her my payment info via phone and the cards were ready to print by 4pm THE SAME DAY!
Less than 24 hours later and I have high quality business cards in hand at a reasonable price. Couldn’t be happier! They also kept the template on hand for easy reordering.
I highly recommend Autumn Express!

Last minute, I decided to create a hand out for a talk on Wednesday. Getting the file to them, turn around time, and price were great. I trusted them on paper/​ink and they nailed it. Can’t imagine too much they could have done better.

I picked up my art prints today and they turned out beautiful.
Valerie and Lisa are both friendly and helpful to work with. They responded to emails promptly. They were patient with all my questions, going through the process of reviewing proofs, and fixed mistakes quickly. When I was not satisfied with how uneven the borders of some of my proofs looked, Lisa must’ve kept that in mind, because they came out fine in the final prints.
And yes, the turnaround was quick. Probably would have been even quicker if one of their printers had not been in maintenance at the time.
It was also nice to have a bit of conversation with them. They complimented my art work and wished me luck with an upcoming comic convention.

What a god send. These guys have come through for me under incredibly slim deadlines *twice in 24h!* Since I wasn’t in SF to see the final product she patiently described my stock options (just dad jokes, no actual kids ladies) and the varied forms of white I was able to choose from and different weights. Soft white, bright white, ivory, off white, Marshall Mathers…
Aesthetically I’m quite particular. And the job was invitation cards for a very VIP/​private event, so I was keen on getting the details just right. I suppose many people that go to specialty print shop are. Well these guys get it. Valerie doesn’t rush you, but when you rush her she totally effing ships!
That said, don’t rush her! Don’t rush people in general! It’s not polite! I’m wagging a finger!
I know their a bit specialty, but I’m bringing all my print jobs here from now on. FedEx is maddening. «I can’t even» was probably first said in a FedEx. These guys are more detailed, thoughtful, friendly and fast. Done.

I called at 5:30 and needed 100 business cards printed the next day by noon. They had the cards ready by 10:30am. Incredible.
I called several other print shops before and they weren’t able to guarantee the same quick turnaround. Autumn Express saved my ass. Nice quality, and they worked with me to correct the layout.

It’s Thursday and we need a large (10K plus) order of postcards, fliers, and posters by Monday morning. We just got our VistaPrint shipment in and it was far below our standards. We asked several other print shops if they could process this large of an order in such a fast turnaround, and all said no.
Autumn Express comes in and saves the day. We walk in with our order and Valerie is ready to go. She noticed some issues with our bleed lines and right away helped us fix it — she has a real eye for design — and gave us a great price. When we got our order on Monday, like we asked, we were really pleased with the quality and turnout of our materials. We came back to re-​up on our materials, and this time we even had some changes. Again, Valerie was VERY patient with us and worked with us to make sure the print would come out exactly right.
If you need a fast, reliable, cost-​effective, and thorough printer, come to Autumn Express. We were really happy with what we paid for… the quality of the prints and the level of service will keep us coming back for all our printing needs.

I’m the owner of a local small business and will choose Autumn Express for my future printing needs
This week I had an urgent and immediate printing need and walked into Autumn Express to see if they could help.
Lisa was kind and patient to hear me out, and even remembered my logo from some previous printing. I’m sure I’m one of many rush requests, and was pleasantly surprised that I wasn’t brushed off or ridiculed for my timeline
Lisa checked with Teresa, and even though it was an extremely small job and we all knew they were going out of their way, they seemed genuinely interested in helping me out of a jam.
Long story short, I got my printouts and made my deadline. It was enjoyable experience, thanks to the ladies at Autumn Express. I thanked them profusely, and it really stuck when Teresa said, «we try to help whenever we can»

My experience here was so good I’ve finally created a Unilocal account, just so I can write this review!
I busted into the shop on a recent morning, sweating profusely from my bike ride over. The doors hadn’t been open for even 10min, so I assumed things would be busy with morning activity. Unfortunately I was right… but by some miracle, other activities seemed to pause for me and I received near-​instant help!
And I had an odd need: I needed blank business cards, but on a particular recycled card stock. And I needed them in less than an hour. The miracles piled up: They had the paper in stock, the cutting machine was free, and in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES I was paid up and out the door. Oh – and I paid so little I felt embarrassed. I’ll never order cards online again.
Hot stuff :) I can’t recommend this place more highly.

I printed 50 postcards here for my fashion show in Jan 2015.
Without knowing the technical part much, I sent off my PDF to Lisa, who was super patience, communicative, and attentive with adjusting my file so that it will be printed out correctly! The cards came out just the way I expected.
I started a few days early to avoid the unnecessary 1-​day/​last minute job. Because of the adjustments needed from my file, it did end up being almost a 1-​day turnaround. And they pulled it off effortlessly for me. The price was right too.
I am definitely going back for more printing needs.

TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

I printed my wedding place cards here, and other wedding materials. I gave them the list of people, and the rough design, and they made the place cards from that. Cool! Easy! And such high quality elegant prints! It was way better making them in town than having them shipped off from Etsy. Valerie and the team was super prompt with correspondence, and gave me excellent customer service. I actually messed up some designs and they fixed it all for me. I highly recommend, and will find a reason to use them again!
