Dropped my car off and it was ready for pick up in two hours. Tinted 10 windows, which included the small corner ones. They did a great job and would recommend this place to others. Fast, affordable, and comes with warranty.

Just had my 2012 Subaru Outback tinted here and they did an amazing job. They are very friendly and were reasonably priced. They are very honest and even put down tape on my window buttons to remind me not to roll down the windows. Very pleased with the work that they did.

Just took my second car to Auto Tech for tints. The new SUV has a huge sunroof and tan interior so even though I went with the same tints as I got last time it turned out too light.
I wasn’t sure if I should take it back or just deal with. When I called the guys at Auto Tech they didn’t hesitate for a second to make sure I would be happy with the way the new car turned out. I brought it back and they immediately redid the job with darker tints and made sure it turned out the way I wanted.
Steven and the team are awesome, can’t recommend these guys enough!

KUDOS to the person (name withheld intentionally so he won’t be bothered) who gave me his friend’s place to install my amplifier yesterday at a discount.
His friend wasn’t there & I think I got smacked a bit for «necessary» items, but the worker was awesome, did an awesome job, & if I EVER have more than 2 windows to be tinted, I’m bringing my car HERE! (I wish they still did stereo stuff!!!)
If willingness to help someone doesn’t show honesty, I don’t know what does.

Steven is very friendly. He gave a good reasonable price. The bottom part of the prius was not included for the tinting, but he hooked it up. Did a good job too. They work fast too. Had the tinting done in an hour. Excellent service!

Great! Got the price quoted on the phone. Total was $ 367 after tax for 7 windows tinted. I got the choice of choosing between the cheaper kind and the 3M. The difference was $ 50. I got the 3M.
I left the car there early at 10:10 AM. I told the service rep that I will need the car in 2 hours. I asked them wheres a good place to hang around for two hours and they recommend the mall on market st. I went there to chill and received a call right around 12PM.
The installation was done perfectly and I was told that I couldn’t open the windows for a week. They even taped the switch so you don’t accidentally open the window.
I would highly recommend if you need your windows tinted.

Brought my new Subaru in to get tinted with 3M film. These guys are great at what they do. They helped me pick the right shade and did a fantastic job on the install. No bubbles, very clean and precise. The best part was they were able to see me with short notice and their price beat every other quote I received! You really can’t go wrong with these guys. Professional, nice, and attentive to detail.

I had my M5 tinted at this place they did a great job and the work was clean. They had a next day appointment and i got the the shop when they opened, dropped the car off and he was calling me 3hours later to let me know my car was ready. Life time warranty and uses 3m tint if you pay for it. I paid $ 450 for all 5 windows 50% 3m film

Price does differ from the one quoted on phone even for appointments, very much a scam trying to add another $ 50+ to the unsuspecting. The shop is small and located on a busy street, so dust blows in as cars pass and causes small bubbles in the tint. Overall would not recommend for the price and huge headache dealing with price misquote and poor tint job.
I have to conclude that half the reviews for them are from friends/​family. Others have had the same exact problem I describe here, so hopefully this helps someone avoid the same mistake I made.

I went to this place for window tinting on my Audi A8, whene I arrived they discussed all my options. The final product was great and the did an awesome job. I’m really happy with this place.

I went to get my windows tinted two weeks after buying a brand new car. The price they gave me over the phone was decent compared to other to tint shops in the area but I chose to go here because of their good reviews.
I was disappointed at the tint job. There are a handful of bubbles where dust got in while they were doing the job. They told me that the bubbles would go away in time but they never did. What I was most disappointed about was the fact that the tint didn’t go to the edge of the window. The tint stops one inch shy of the window edge which is VERY NOTICABLE. I’ve gotten tint jobs at two other places and they have always gone up to the window edge.

After all these years open, they still do a outstanding job! Steven and his crew get the job done with quality and speed. They all team up to get it done so you could go on your way. This will be my 4th car getting shaded her at auto tech and my first one is still looking good. Reasonable prices, good service, great work and plenty of spots to eat in SOMA while you wait for you ride to get looking good. Get over to Auto Tech and support your local shops!

I called, made and appointment. I dropped off the car as scheduled. I walked to Whole Foods for a bite to eat while they worked. I came back and they were all finished. I think I went a little too dark on the tint shade… Just me questioning my choice… but they did a great job and were total professionals. Friendly business. Thanks guys!
